Your truck handled it well I have come across one up there that was abandoned with a broken tie rod And there’s always that possibility up there Wonder what your back up plan is with a young family going solo ?

Differently not the best place to get stuck on!! I carry tools and a few spare parts. Good check over the 4x4 before I leave home wheelbearings/slop in moving parts etc .take extra food,water for another night. If All fails call a mate for help.

Hey mate. Don’t really want to ask the same questions as everyone else haha but as i understand it you kept the forward shift mechanism by using a gear drive t/case stick and welding an additional 20mm onto the lower section so it still engages correctly? Looking at gear drive converting my r151f and want to keep the forward shift and from what i understood before coming across this video that wasn’t possible

You need a 2lt bell housing and a chain to gear driven adaptor plate …it’s a g52 transfer case, mine might be the older version of the tcase.

The Pajero 35s Hilux 33s Land cruiser 33s Maybe in the future for the hilux to get 35s but will need high steer etc have some parts already 😉
