Access and ques should be mandatory in every school on the face of the Earth. And not just one grade. Repeated throughout all the years you go to school. Can you imagine how much fun school would be if teachers knew access and ques?

According to the podcast, humor can improve your business and life. Richard Bandler, a guest on the show, argues that people are contagious and if you are in a good mood, it spreads around. He also believes that finding humor in your mistakes can help you avoid repeating them. The podcast host, Paul Baross, also highlights that Richard Bandler delivers rather than promises. Bandler says that he wants people to go out and succeed, and that's what makes him pleased.

Some doubts Richard Bandler says that humor can help us see things from a different perspective. Can you think of an example from your own life where humor helped you learn something new or see a situation in a different way? The speaker mentions that humor can be used to challenge assumptions. Can you think of an assumption you or someone you know holds that could be challenged through humor? How might you use humor to do this in a constructive way? The video suggests that humor can help us shield ourselves from negativity. Do you think humor can always be helpful in negative situations? Why or why not? Can you think of a situation where humor might not be appropriate?

According to the video, Richard Bandler, a co-developer of neuro-linguistic programming, believes that humor is a necessity in life and if you can't laugh at yourself, you will never learn smarter things. The speaker, Paul Baross, introduces Richard Bandler as a master of humor. Richard Bandler also believes that people talk themselves out of being humorous. He says that his job is to help people see that what they are doing is funny enough to laugh at. When people start laughing at themselves, they start learning and changing their behaviors.

I grew up with Flanders & Swann, not mentioned by Dillie, I still regularly sing the Gas Man Cometh & All Gaul (poingnant as I am living in France !). Only introduced to Sweet FA with their song "So Sorry Scotland", brilliant; my wife is Scottish ! We were disenfranchised for both referenda, such is UK democracy.

Quite what MT has to do with humour is beyond me. Good for ranting in front of angry teenagers but scratch beneath the surface and he’s just a tedious little hypocrite.

I think I already know what I miss and what was the feeling of everything is fine that I lost years ago: thinking in purpose of laughing. I was managing a Facebook meme page years ago, basically my mind was in a different sets of chemistry. Then, you know, we got in relationship and we try to find out why it does not work and been too analytical and things like that. Thank you Paul and La Valle, you both gave me a golden hint!!

Excellent, such good fun ! What's pissed me off about this though, having got to November with my new years resolution NOT to buy any more books in 2022, just to add to the pile of "must get but can't find time to read" books on my sagging shelf, is that I'll now have to buy your Humourology book, Paul, and make it a priority read. You bugger!

The Covida ad was one of two of the best political ads I've ever seen, and I'm 62 years old. The other brilliant ad was Bernie Sanders' "America" ad with the Simon and Garfunkle song. These two ads were very different. "Covida" was hilarious and the Bernie ad was emotionally moving for people of a certain age.

Love this. Brilliant podcast and theme that is so underexplored. Gelotology, humour studies, comedy, and magic (performative) are such creative and integral parts of our creativity. Good to see someone doing a podcast around the understanding aspect of humour, which is a beautiful medicine! Thank you!
