Montana is so beautiful. I dont want to get political, but I don't think I'd fit in real well there. Amazing country, though.

@@r0gers96 amazing country. Not *an* amazing country. Read it again and think a little longer about words. Edit: And with your inability to spell, I'm saddened that you're *allowed* to vote.

@r0gers96 amazing country. Not *an* amazing country. You need to learn how to read and spell. It's *allowed* . As in: I can't believe you're *allowed* outside without supervision.

I use a push putt 16 ft or less. I use the spush putt 17-32 ft & a spin putt outside circle or more. Is that weird? One gives me more distance than another & at a certain distance is just feels more comfortable.

I see that 'palm up' advice given so much on KZfaq by pro disc golfers, even off the tee. I've been using Stokely's advice for a few years now and my backhand is so much more enjoyable to throw.

My all-time favorite disc golfer. Stokes is one of the coolest cats in the game, and for us older guys, kinda like our zen master. ;)

Geddum stokes. First watched you throw when I was cutting my teeth at morley and learning from our local legends in late 80's. Back playing again after similar time off as you. I too am looking at the sport with a new lens at 53y/o. Would love to meet you if you ever make it to sd

Now remember, and please think about this, ANYTHING you do, receive, accomplish, win, in this world, is utterly worthless in Gods eyes, and there are rewards to receive in heaven that will far surpass anything you can do in this lifetime.

This was one of the best throwing videos I’ve watched where the mechanics and feel of the form was tangible. I’m so excited to put these tips to use later this week!

I knew this... right up to starting my round today in a howling gale... Then I tried to get a few that I really should have laid up... SIGH!.... MY TIP.... In CROSS-WIND... Put your back to the wind.. Throw an under stable disc. (This also applies for putting.. My Proxy flies straight in crosswind (except with my horrible sidearm). If you throw an over stable disc in a cross-wind... with your back to the wind, the down wind edge drops, exposes the underneath and disc go bye bye. If you throw an over stable disc in a cross-wind... with the wind in your face, the up wind edge drops, exposing the top of the disc and the disc hits the ground. Use the right (ok go experiment) flippy disc with your back to the wind, may even need a light hyzer... the disc turns into the wind sits flat, and fights the wind until it fades out, and often just drops in the fade.. (I guess don't choose a flippy disc with a large fade (like a -2, 3)... My Diamond thrown backhand to the right with the wind behind me, on a slight hyzer is my go-to on an uphill upshot on my local.

I was throwing frisbee's in 77... took over 40 years for me to take up Disc Golf... I'm sure it wouldn't have interfered with Trail riding and MTB Downhill... Still... I've got Disc Golf now... and fit snuggly in with my average Joe Pars... (Actually Playing Par is great for me.. I can push someone better than me, I can tow someone close behind.. Or I and muck up a few and push someone having a bad day... No pressure of staying on top..) (I can remember clambering up a drain pipe onto my Primary school roof to get my frisbee back I lost at 'Play Time'... May give that a miss.. though I do still find myself 10ft up a tree fetching discs at 55... Never too old to learn (that I shouldn't have climbed That one.)...
