If you follow Guy Cramer's work, you'll know that the invisibility cloak pics are just mocks-ups - he's even said so. Plus he has two types of technologies, one that is passive and the other powered. Do you really think that he'd reveal the actual technology in some random KZfaq video? Get real.

basically it may work showing the background: many technologies are available for light waveguide,just make a search: diffractive, holographic, etc.. it may be real stuff and according to me it's a reality since many years... it cost anyway but for military applications it's priceless! check this basic technology : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waveguide_%28optics%29

The japanese have been on this since early 2000's. But this tech (as we know it), requires a computer set up, camera(s) to film the surroundings and a projector to cast it onto the nanofabric.

I agree with your conclusion but your reason makes no sense. That's what fibre optic cables do, they bend light (well, light is internally reflected inside them).To become invisible, light needs to be bent around the object. However, the way he just says light bends in fibre optic cables, I do it a bit differently, voila - an invisibility cloack - is hilarious, because these technologies have been in research and development for a long time with a hell of a lot of money, he didn't just come up with the idea and start sewing invisibility into some cloth. I photographs are clearly not genuine.
