@@ISTEWART626 I really like both. I sold the TBSS, but if I would not have moved I’d still have it. I used the TBSS, towed, gravel roads, winter time, etc. It was my everyday driver with well over 200,000 miles on it. Rode well, good power, liked the awd, had nice features, looked good. I also really like the Caprice. I still own it, although I never had the opportunity to daily drive the car. The only chance I had was during a drag-n-drive event call Sick Week. 1,000 miles in five days. I’ve used it mostly as a toy, really love it. Great bang for buck value. It’s a large car with lots of room for passengers and luggage. Great performance for the money. Nobody knows what they are, and my car has a noticeable exhaust note, so everyone asks about it.

You may want to take a look at your evaporator with a small boroscope camera if you have the blower motor out. Since Ford neglected to put a cabin air filter in these heavy duties, the evaporator gets clogged with debris causing low air volume.

Wiring is actually one of my favorite things when it comes to cars. I never understood why people have an issue with it. What’s REALLY hard is body and paint. As for the alternator wire, routing it along the sway bar is not the best idea. It is both vulnerable and subject to lots of movement (which can cause it to fail). Much better would be to route it on the radiator support. Also, given the consequences of a short, it would be best to use some plastic conduit to protect it. A large fuse/fusible link is also a good idea.
@MickelsonRacingChannelАй бұрын
Good tip! I agree that body and paint are much more difficult and more boring to me than wiring.

Greetings all, this is an older video, but I’m just seeing it for the first time. I’ve had my 06 TBSS for about a year and a half now and love it! Your low oil pressure is not normal. Mine idles at 42 psi when hot and purrs like a big cat. I don’t have the same thing you experience with unlocking with the remote. You might want to check your remote settings In the driver information center. Regarding trailer lighting, I have a round 7 to 4 flat connector permanently installed with the four flat connector zip tied to the Left chain loop with a few inches of slack. Normally it is tucked in by the hitch receiver. When I need it, pull it out and plug it in. No big deal. Work smarter, not harder. Mine is mostly stock except a K&N cold air intake and resonator delete and averages 14.9 miles per gallon. Not sure why yours is lower. When was your last tuneup? And regarding snow buildup, I keep mine in the garage. Funny how two people with the same vehicle can have totally different experiences.
@MickelsonRacingChannel2 ай бұрын
Sounds like you have a great example of a trailblazer ss! My oil pressure issue was fixed by changing oil filter brands. Definitely different experiences, two different applications as well!
