Hey! I’m back here after a long while and I’ve been thinking… Death metal was popular in Florida in the 80s/90s, and this song clearly has an action + medieval theme. The lyrics are very straight forward about some unknown enemies wanting to take over a kingdom and celebrating their defeat of the king. Could this have been used for the Medieval Times attraction in Kissimmee FL? (Keep in mind, I’ve never been there so I don’t know if they play music there or not) Or was it at least inspired by it? (Again, take this theory with a grain of salt, I have a wild imagination! 😅)

I like how it sounds like a teenage band that dropped the hardest rock song ever (in my opinion) Like everything fits perfectly, the lyrics sound like they took 600 years to come up with and the speed and pitch match the tone of the song perfectly!!! and the way the guitar riffs are done is godly. The part when the song slows down a lot at 2:29 is amazing. The 1990 demo of this song is my favourite song ever by far.

I just got home from Brimming Horn's "Party like it's 793". I did my thing and asked band members and patrons alike about this song. The bands "Goblins Hovel", "Bastians Wake" and a guy named "Richie Headbanger" (NOT a band member but a metal historian.....supposedly) all suggested a band called "Shadow" from Cleveland that made demo songs for numerous 80's sword and sorcery films. Johan Soderberg of the band Aman Armath said it sounded like a Canadian band "Legion of the Fallen" but emphasized his guess was based on the music itself because the singer did not sound the same. His girlfriend Kyla thought it was a band called Raven. Kyla also suggested we look on a site called "Hells Headbanger" because that site is specifically for very unknown or low level bands/music. One patron suggested a band called "YNC" but didn't elaborate or give any info except they were around Chicago in the early 80's. Each person I spoke to said they would ask around and share this song to all their circles. Hopefully they do and it gains more momentum. A bunch of other patrons all said the same, so hopefully they meant it too. My overall number of people asked was probably about 30.
