3:38 I have to disagree, 80-150 ping is not decent playing. The hitboxes are literally nuddles flapping arround. In dbd it was horrible, like crazy. This is also bad, just that it's not meant to have fun playing this game. Eitherway i agree with the rest of your video.

Wu from Moonlit River here! That kite as the perfumer was good. Honestly it could've been a draw or a win if it wasn't the merc double hit. Also, you DID stun me with the pallet. But the teleport cancelled the stun animation. It's a little trick abt Wu :) ...anyways, gl on your future matches!

Haii! I'm the batter (P0okie), I did kinda poorly in that match 🫠 bro I was having mini lag strikes out of nowhere (thus the missed rampage ball stun) YOU DID SO WELL AS BANE!!! I Believe that the Explorer wasn't decoding any cipher and was just hiding the entire time... I checked his decoding process and it was below 50%

I completely agree with your take on Vanguard. I've played League since season 1 and this is the first time I've really had an issue with continuing to play it at all. Even aside from the spyware part of the concerns, Riot is basically assuming that their game is the most important thing on our computers and that any other needs of other progroms, services or even work related content, is secondary to playing their game. Vanguard unilaterally shuts down services on my computer that it doesn't like and they are one's that are unrelated to gaming or League. These are the sort of actions a company takes when they don't think that they answer to anyone but themselves. At the very least, it should be possible to shut down Vanguard when not playing League, yet it is not. If I close it, then my system needs to be restarted if I want to again play League again. Hell, for the first couple days after I did install Vanguard, I had nothing of issues with my system. It wouldn't even allow me to run my VPN. Riot needs a wake up call unless they are actually trying to kill their games and expose their players to all sorts of future security issues. Btw, I did read through the solutions that people posted in the comments and none of those are really viable or reasonable for most people. The average person doesn't have the expertise or money to incorporate secondary computers or run dual boot systems or Virtual Machine environments. Plus, we shouldn't have to do any of those things just to play a damn game.

I was probably talking about the discord bot I made for the game, since this stream was around when I was having trouble keeping it online (money problems). Although I don't really remember 100%. well... looks like im gonna have to post my response to this now. Just kidding! to be honest if i had known my video would spark so much attention itd prompt an almost 2 hour reaction to it, i definitely would have written all core talking points down, spent way WAY WAY more time discussing the nuance involved, and overall polishing my points to create a strong, concise narrative. but i sat down with literally only the single term “band-aids on bullet wounds” as a basis and hit record. so yeah, it was just a rant video about rank. but at the same time, it highlights undeniable issues that face our game. glad you liked the video though! regardless, i wanted people to feel seen… or at the very least enjoy the content

I don't think simply sitting down and talking about the games problems without a script or much direction was a bad thing. Talking about issues like this is important so I'm happy you brought them to light and encouraged discussion about them :) Cleary a lot of people feel similar and getting that kind of information is helpful for the development of the game.

This video is mid tier mentality the video. Like, I was there too at one point and I get being mad at cipher rush. But I gotta say a hot take, as someone who has gotten peak tier and has been top 20 with 12 different hunters including with slow hunters like Violinist facing peak tiers, cheerleader isn't actually that bad. You just hit her to cancel her support and you don't chase her first and she isn't that bad to deal with. And the idea that opera is the most oppressive hunter is baffling to me, does no one remember COA4 Dream witch? COA5 Sculptor? Release breaking wheel? (Seriously look up release breaking wheel it was way worse than Ivy)

One last point, the idea that the meta is formulaic right now is ridiculous, watch COA4 R1 matches I swear to you, every match is mech dies in the same corner on arms and everyone tries to sell the mech for a tie. I would rather have another 3 years of the same meta than go back to that kind of meta

@anothertexan0339 hi its me the creator of the vid 🤔i had more recorded specifically talking about the history of the meta (where i mentioned past meta survs and hunters and strategies) but a good gooood chunk got cut out cuz of background issues. thats why i randomly started talking about ento LOL... i only kept that segment in cuz i wanted to say hi to my friend nyarla! also the meta by nature will always be formulaic as people adjust strategies for the best results. some metas are more formulaic than others, such as the mech meta, and others not so, but its still rather formulaic... at least thats how it feels to me. i mean maybe i made my video sound a little more serious than intended because it really was just a rant... wasnt expecting this much attention lol

@idvgumball I get that sentiment, I will freely admit that I was in your position with your same arguments only a couple years ago. During the sculptor meta, I was the guy complaining about cipher rush being op and the fact priestess and Seer were so broken it was not funny and that chip hunters were too opressive and samey in every match and these new characters little girl and psychologist are so broken and brain dead wtf is netease doing. So from my perspective it seemed like the cycle has repeat itself with new faces lol.

I feel like your argument about how anti cipher rush hunters not being the top of the meta means that cipher rush isnt an issue kinda doesnt make sense? Joseph has strong anti cipher rush but hes WEAK at chase. And then hermit also has weak chase, strong anti cipher rush. Thats why they arent meta. Mad eyes has strong cipher pressure, but he has a low pick rate and is considered not meta. Why would that be? Because of his weak chase. You cant be meta with a character if its only super strong in one attribute, like joseph is only strong in cipher pressure. OS has decent cipher pressure so shes fine not getting cipher rushed the way other characters get cipher rushed. She's also meta bc she's a strong character who has strong chase, strong pressure, strong camp. Would like to hear more about your opinion though

Your right. The point I was trying to make was that cipher rush isn't everything like people kind of seem to think it is. Its an important part of winning but it isn't what all games are won and lost on. So characters like photo and hermit prove that more is needed on the hunter side. I didn't really explain well because its hard to make thought out points while doing everything live off the cuff.

CPU - 4 cores Memory - 4GB High performance Framerate - 60 Bigger factor is probably is you use ethernet or wifi. Could also be a server issue.

Unfortunately it’s pretty much already industry standard. Most competitive games have something similar to this, granted not quite as bad as vanguard. I think the transition is inevitable sadly, since companies are quite successful with using the fact that these programs also stop cheating as a shield also people get very addicted to games such as league.

I just comeback after 2 years and tbh it's frustrating for the both side (im main hunter) because there r so many new character, not to mention old characters got fixed. But right now I'm glad I play it again, with some of my friends damn it does really FUN. I miss it very much. Love your video and Im gonna watch that decoder video soon!
