I use a Boss SY-1 into the cloudburst for unbelievable fat synth pads. I play the intro to Genesis “Watcher of the Skies” and am blown away by the sound.

Hi, wondering if it’s possible to have the trails even when you switch preset? I’ve ✅ ON ‘trails’ on neuro app. But this only works when on the same preset, but it doesn’t work when jumping to different preset.

Good question.. I think it doesn't have that feature yet. Hoping for an update from source audio

Wow, these clips sound really nice! Thanks for demonstrating the Collider! Glad you like it.
@ambientnightsphАй бұрын
It's the only delay/reverb remaining in my board. It might stay for a long time :) it covers all genres that I play (from blues to rock to ambient stuff etc) and sound quality is clear and superb (not using my multifx anymore cause of sound quality difference) more power to you, source audio :)
@rickthomas393Ай бұрын
While it's not a very complex thing to tap through the 8 presets on the Collider, I hooked up a cheap Midi Mouse to mine & I can see 1-8 easily on the MM bright LED screen, and find it to be simpler/easier to navigate pre-sets on stage. I love my collider💌👍🏻.

Is that a Cloudburst next to Collider? How do they pair together? Too much? Good video, may just buy Collider based on your ambient examples.
@ambientnightsph2 ай бұрын
Yes that's a cloudburst.. if you pair the "cloud settings" it might be too much.. but I haven't tried the cloudburst ensemble mode yet with it. I bet I can I find a great sound with both pedals, will post again a video soon
@TXstang3472 ай бұрын
@@ambientnightsph I've been looking for a reverb/delay to pair with Cloudburst. Currently running Death by Audio Reverberation Machine with it and it gives creepy dark ambience. Tried: Walrus Slo, Kelley Parallax, EHX Cathedral, UA tape delay/reverb, All interesting but not quite right. Collider sounds like it might be it. Thanks! Would be interested to hear them together in the meantime though if you're looking for a new video idea.

It's a tremendous sound, Mel9 & Cloudburst in series. I use them in parallel. Guitar goes to splitter. Left board includes Mel9 through phaser, shimmer & volume pedal; dry output to separate FX. Right board includes Cloudburst & its expression pedal. That way the Cloudburst and the Mel9 are controlled by different feet. Great for chilled, spaced-out psychedelia. Your way, in series, you can still use the CB's expression pedal and have some flexibility. And I thought I'd finished messing with the boards...

Very nice. I'm always glad to see these ms pedals used creatively. I used my ms50 for years with a 2notes cab m for full ampless sound, and it always impressed when ppl saw my setup. Lol. Btw try running the mangled space, into shim verb with a delay, may get you even closer to the strymon 😉

@@ambientnightsph Thank you for the response. I haven't tried the iridium, was looking into it a while back, and it was a finalist for me to try, along with the ua ruby. I like to have Line Select as the 1st one as well. That way, if a Effects Patch is Too Loud or Needs to be Louder, I can Adjust Volume, without having to Mess Up the Levels inside the the various Effects that make up the Effects Patch. --- Simply Increasing or Lowering the knobs in the Line Level is all that's needed to Achieve More or Less Volume, of the overall Effects Patch! Enjoy!
