i am in the middle of construction and the plans are great. I have one question regarding the beam to post connectors. Which do you reference? There several out there and wanted to check in to see if you had a recommendation.
@Myoutdoorplans22 күн бұрын
They are all ok. Explain the person in charge what you will be using it for and they will recommend the appropriate product.

I'm looking to construct outside storage for two kayaks and a paddle board. There are so many videos out there, but I'm happy to have found yours. I will add a roof to aid in keeping UV and debris off of my kayaks. I'm lucky to have a master carpenter as a brother. Thank you for the design and inspiration

Why not build the door on the high wall side, wouldnt this stop rain from pouring down on you if you walk in or out during rain?
@Myoutdoorplans29 күн бұрын
Because you can build this against the property line for example and save space

Great design. Could the 2x6 rafters be replaced with fewer 4x6 rafters? I would like to have that beefier look and instead of plywood, run rough sawn 1" boards with a metal roof. Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't have the 6" wide tiimber for the top of the bench, so I drew a scale sketch of the plans to see how the timber I had would fit. After using the given dimensions of the top seat slats, I found they were too small in length, if I had used the measurement 41" for the long slat it would leave the legs hanging out. I base my measurement problem after spreading the legs 33.5" on the long side and 16.5" on the short side. Have I missed something?

Hey man, I can't acces your main page anymore, myoutdoorplans. It says "content copyright protected". It's been like that for a few weeks now. Last year I bought one of your pavilion plans, really happy with the result. Now I'm looking for a lean-to carport plan.

Currently building this coop. Quick question. Is the gap between the sidewalls and the roof plywood intentional or did i make a mistake somewhere? I dont see any water getting in there but i am concerned about a draft.
@Myoutdoorplans10 ай бұрын
It is intentional for ventilation. If you want to seal it, fit blocks of wood between the rafters

This video has a center post to ground. Your other plans don't have a center post to ground, only from center rafter tie to ridge beam. Is the plan without the center post an error?
@Myoutdoorplans10 ай бұрын
No. It's not an error. Look at the 20 ft opening to the front.
@jeffgrzybowski532210 ай бұрын
@@Myoutdoorplans yes, I see the posts on both ends. The discrepancy is with the post in center of Pavillion. The free plans don't have a column post 10' from sides and 12' from ends. If you post an email, I'll send a picture

This looks like it uses way more material than is needed, I'm wondering how it would turn out with a single 2x4 on each arm and single 4x4 for base.
