Yes I guess you would call my wedding band a contour band (never knew the name until now) and it was made to totally give absolutely no gap with my low profile engagement ring.

The reason why wedding rings are known to be circular in shape is that a circle has no beginning and no end; hence why marriages are meant to last forever… in this case… I am not sure the ‘open band’ design😅😅…

My experience is that a diamond from at least a I and under look better and whiter in all yellow.
