If you press Triangle+Circle while holding R and having the greatsword sheathed, you will instant block. If you hold down Triangle+Circle+R during an animation, you will also insta block after the animation ends. It's extremely useful to block monster charges and tail swipes.

@@winchester479there are many reasons as to why people love fu but at the end of the day, fu simply matters alot to many and few game can give them the same thing as fu. The game being old is irrelevant, if its enjoyable and fun then why shouldn't you play? Thats like saying you shouldn't play doom because it came out 90s or sth despite it being a masterpiece of its own. You seeing a many vids about an old psp game might be weird at first, but after some digging and maybe some time, you ll get used to it

As I say they don't put the "fu" in mhfu without janke but I have the most nostalgia for it as my first monster hunter I got it back in 2012 on vita before getting 3u on 3ds about a few weeks later you could say I'm a huge fan
