hi robert, thank you for sharing your amazing setup. what kind monitor do you use? is there a type c input at the monitor?

Hey, it’s an Kenowa Type-C Portable Monitor 15.6 Inch Full HD LED Display. I’m not sure it’s still available but TBH I just went with a monitor that was USB-C powered, big enough to fit in a flight case and still see the details on screen.

Very helpful video. Thanks for sharing. How do you overcome the 30 minute record limit using the A7III? Wouldn't that be an issue streaming during long ceremonies?
@NickYack

Also was wondering, have you done live streaming at places with no wi-fi? If so, do you use some type of mobile hotspot?
@robnelsonphotofilm
@robnelsonphotofilm Жыл бұрын
Hey, I use the A7S3 which does not have the recoding limitations, I’m also only streaming at 1080p so it’s never going to over heat.

@@NickYack yes, if the wi-if is a poor I use a mobile hotspot, if that fails I record the event and provide this recording as a backup.

Thanks ,Why do we have to use another converter from HDMI to SDI if we use a long HDMI cable with a lot of problems
@robnelsonphotofilm
@robnelsonphotofilm Жыл бұрын
The length of the HDMI cable can have signal problems so I only use SDI cables. Camera HDMI Out -> Converter -> SDI Cable -> Converter -> ATEM HDMI In hope that helps.

From the Camera. HDMI IN to SDI out then SDI IN to HDMI out? Is this accurate?

Hey, yep. You need to use Blackmagic Micro Converter HDMI to SDI 3G

Hey there Great video ! Thank you for making it 🙏🏻 How do make sure the Sony A7S3 don’t go into a sleeping mode while you live streaming? Do you press record while streaming?

Hey Levy, TBH I have not seen my A7siii go in to sleep mode when connected via the HDMI output. I will take a look at my settings and report back to you.

Thanks for the vid! How do you guarantee the live feed? Are you using wifi from each location or do you use some other solution for wifi stability?
@robnelsonphotofilm
@robnelsonphotofilm 2 жыл бұрын
Hey, if the WiFi is good then yes I will connect to that but as long as I have 4G or 5G through a hotspot I’m usually good to go. I never guarantee a connection to clients but I do record the whole event and offer a quick turn around edit, so those that might have missed out if no connection can still see the action, just a little later than planned :-)

Hi Robert, thank you for sharing your setup. What kind of power supplies are you using in your travel case to run the atem and SDI converters and which is on the tripod?
@robnelsonphotofilm
@robnelsonphotofilm 2 жыл бұрын
Hey Greg, I use a USB-C charger in the case that powers the SDI converters. At the camera end I use a USB-C powerbank attached to the tripod, the same type you might use to charge your mobile phone on the go.

Thanks for the video, always nice to see other people's setup. I use similar solution with the BMD converters to get the signal from the camera's to the ATEM.

A great setup you have.... how are you connected to the the internet?
@robnelsonphotofilm
@robnelsonphotofilm 2 жыл бұрын
In most cases I either connect my laptop to the internet via the local ethernet connection at the venue, or I use a mobile hotspot. I know the ATEM can stream directly to KZfaq etc but for wedding videos I find Zoom to be a better platform, No copyright issues on music and participants can chat to the couple after the event. Hope that answers your question.

Holmewood Hall is a beautiful historic 19th century Tudor gothic style mansion wedding venue based in Cambridgeshire. Weddings at Holmewood Hall offers the perfect setting for your big day; it has the light and airy gold room room with a 50 ft aisle, a huge stair case and grounds for lots of amazing photography opportunities. I will look forward to photographing other weddings at Holmewood Hall at in the near future.
