I have been using trail cameras for quite a long time now, and I have 6 Moultrie Mobile cameras on my property and I could not ask for anything more from them. I have 1 camera that will be out in the field for 2 years come September and it still has 100% battery life. All of my cameras from last September are at 100% also. Not a single issue with the Mobile Edge cameras. I can not wait to get an Edge 2. Great product.

Good vid. My platform, the teeth are not grabbing hard barked trees and that is where the popping is coming from on mine. The platform isn’t making the noise itself but it’s the contact with the tree. Softer trees it’s fine but on say an ash or an oak it’s popping a lot. Doesn’t matter what tree or how many times I toe hook it. Have you had any issues with contact noise on the bark when shifting weight? Thanks.
@THEWOODLANDPURSUIT
@THEWOODLANDPURSUIT 27 күн бұрын
I recently took all the teeth to the wire brush on my grinder to remove the power coat on them. It’s been my experience that any coating or paint on the teeth of any climber or saddle platform will make noise. I also just removed ALL the hardware and lubed EVERYTHING that could possibly move or shift with silicone grease. It’s also my experience that these areas are overlooked and need this before ever being hunted. Now I just need to take it to a tree again and see if this corrected everything. I won’t hunt it if it creeks.

Hi, I just bought the 29.5 lift, I'm bringing it to have a gas ghost put on because I'm not impressed with the match string, I was told it would out shoot my mathews v3 27 and it didn't, matter of fact the v3 shot fast by a 3fps, so I was not happy I spent 2300 on this set up and my v3 out preform it. I'm hoping the gas string will fix the speed problem.

Anyone using this stand that has used the old Lone Wolf sit and climb? Wondering how they compare. I’m just not seeing much improvement. And it certainly doesn’t look as comfortable. Not downing the stand at all. Just curious.
@THEWOODLANDPURSUIT
@THEWOODLANDPURSUIT Ай бұрын
they deff don't compare. I have the sit and climb wide and now this. These two stands are very different. This stand is built to be light weight, efficient, and functional. It is meant to get in and out quick and quiet and move often if needed. comfort is deff sacrificed to get a top performance stand that is meant to help the hunter kill not nap. the quality of this stand is way superior then the old stand. but it just depends on what you are looking for personally as a hunter. Some guys are ladder stand guys and some are public land mobile guys. nothing wrong with either, but this stand is deff for the mobile guys that grinds hard and goes where the bucks are and changes areas when the are on the move following them to hell and back.

I bought a lone wolf climber five years ago. I resisted hang ons and sticks. It’s a mistake imo. I believe climbers are a pain. I have a million stories to back it up that could fill a chapter of a book. You can hang and hunt with today’s mobile setups faster, more efficiently and in way less ideal trees. One hack I started using with my climber was using one stick offset and starting the climber above it. It gets you higher before the platform starts to pitch down. It also saves you if you have trouble working the stand down at the end of your hunt. When the strap gets tighter I have actually been four feet off the ground and could not get the stand down anymore. I literally have had to jump from the platform more than once. The single stick approach has eliminated that situation.
@THEWOODLANDPURSUIT

@@richstafford1245 yeah I’ve been hunting climbers since the early 80s when we used to have to make our own. Nowadays we are spoiled with so many options. I think what you hunt now definitely depends on the ground your hunting. Climbers, hang ons, blinds, saddles, or whatever, there is not one best choice. Each offers benefits and negatives. Plus personal choice and style plays a role in it too. I definitely love climbers, hang ons, and saddles so now it’s a race till fall to see which I use most

These Grit sticks are great stick at a great price for hunters looking to get started in saddle hunting without breaking the bank. You can’t really compare them to the one sticks cause those are pro level equipment engineered with exotic materials like titanium and extruded aluminum. Like anything of quality you really can’t complain about the price if you don’t want to settle for just ok and want the best. Both of these sticks are quality, the Grit sticks tho sacrifice weight saving tho if your budget don’t allow you to jump into the one sticks. But quality is not sacrificed in either. Thanks for sharing. I can't get mine to suction past a little more than .08, but yours went clear to .1, and I think that's why my bags aren't getting fully sucked clear of air. Any suggestions on how to get mine to hit .1 like yours? I have the same model. Not sure if it matters, but I'm at 5,200' elevation. I appreciated the demo because it definitely shows how mine's not performing to spec.

I am gonna guess at try replacing the lid seals with the replacements it came with. maybe there is a slight leak not allowing the pressure to fully drop

If you mean how long to cycle, under a minute. It’s shows the timer on the front in the video
