I have a 2023 duramax. It almost left me stranded 3 times. Would no start. It's electric and I think it's heat related. Wouldn't start after filling up 70 mile trip towing my boat, one trip it was 50 miles from a trip. Stopped in the store, come back out no start. To keep it short, I waited 15 minutes, and then it started right up each time. Took it to the dealership, and they replaced the transmitter and keyfobs. Didn't fix the problem. Next, going back to the dealer for an ECM update (electronic crank or control mdule)

My 2021 with 523mile isn't shifting right/not shifting. Belt smoking. Won't shift into park or reverse while running or not. Shifter goes into low but stays neutral. Polaris won't help unless you bring it in. This machine is at a cabin way in the woods and that's impossible with out catching me a leprechaun.

I have a 2021 3.0 that wouldn't start but cranked over . I have found the fix, at least to mine , I found it usually screwed up while trying to use The key FOB to start it. The fix was to hook up a scan tool and erase the check Engine light , then wait 10 mins for the computer and electrical system to shut down. Then get back into truck and tap the start button , erase the engine light once more to be sure it's gone then crank it up. I think I may have confused the anti theft system by hitting the lock and unlock while trying to crank the truck up and confused the brain of the truck. Anyway , hope this helps someone with this problem .

I have a sierra elevation. 2022 with the 3.0 motor. Last week i notice that same issue i started with the remote and the truck have hard time to start. A lot of codes came out, exhaust issues, ESC service req. presure module fault. Even a faulty gas cap. Now i was driving and the truck turn off and i tried to turn on the truck again and when start just keeps running 5 seconds and turns off again. I dont know what do i need to check. Any idea?

Only Evo I would trade my 2020 WRX STI for is a Evo 9. I don't want to overpay for the Evo though and they're all overpriced to me if they're over 35k with over 50k miles. I seen some with accidents reported trying to sell for almost $50k. Those people are smoking crack.

I have a 2021 Duramax Denali that has the same problems. I love my truck but am extremely frustrated with this issue. It has been happening more often lately at under 20,000 miles. I certainly don't want to go thru what some have but it is so embarrassing when it does it out in public. Unfortunately, as wide spread as this problem seem to be, it may take a class action lawsuit to get GMC to make this right for us owners. For what we paid for these trucks, it needs to be addressed soon!

Thanks for a simple honest calculated review. So hard to find that on here. This is the same or better than my Colorado Dmax. Mine has been lower ever since the dealer serviced something in the emissions system.

My 2021 has had this problem from day 1 off the lot.dealership just cant seem to figure out what is wrong since the computer isn't telling them what to do. What happened to good mechanics. I have told them what I have researched causing the issue, but they just can't accept what the engineer that developed the engine says needs to be done to fix the problem. I have called their customer service and have two case numbers on this vehicle. They just don't seem to care. Be careful if in heavy stop and go traffic, especially with all the road rage. If it shuts down at a stop light and then not start again the idiots don't care and you best be ready to protect yourself and family, cause the ragers get mad cause you are causing them a delay. It is definitely time for a law suit, because GM is just waiting for our warranty to run out and then they don't have to do anything. Call customer service and get it recorded with case #.

The thing I hated mostly about my problem with Chevy truck dermex diesel is it died in the parking lot had to have it towed $100.00 then 1,200.00 at brakes plus witch only got us home 40 miles and same thing happened Will not start.

Last two times the Chevy dealer placed wanted to charge $100-200 just to look at the vehicle. With no check engine light or codes it's almost just a guess what wrong or test the stuff brakes plus guess fuel pump I guess worked for 40 something miles.

Happens to me about once a month - Always starts the second time. There is no apparent pattern to it, Sometimes cold, sometimes have driven 100 miles.

The clunking might be articulating thru the steering input / torque sensor.

I have a 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 with the 3.0L Duramax in it. I'm having the same issue. I've never let it get below 1/4 of a tank myself. Mine has almost 7,000 miles on it and it's done it about a dozen. Times since I've owned it. I finally scheduled an appointment with the dealership I bought it from. They said they won't know what it is until they hook it up but nothing shows recalled on it yet. Luckily still a long time on warranty on it. But at least I can show them on your video what it's doing if I can't get I on camera between now and next week
