At this point Everyone taking turns saying the same thing about Drake. If Kendrick’s diss dropped 6-8 years ago it would’ve done major damage. Don’t get me wrong, Euphoria was a great song, it just didn’t feel all that there. Drake mentioned it in a lot of his songs that he’s “not bl**k enough.” and the ghostwriting bars are hella old. Drake has the upper hand based on the fact that Kendrick hasn’t had a real beef, so there might be things we don’t know that might be exposed. Same to Cole when he dropped Who dat. Kendrick took some time to grow on me but GKMD was the one that cemented it 4 me. While I followed Tyler, Travis & Future back then, they still sounded more like "another rapper" as opposed to "The rappers" of that time. Big Sean and at one point B.O.B had more claim to the "up next" title than the aforementioned.
