I was travelling around all iceland in 5/15 july 2016 , and we renting Mitsubishi pajero 3.2 new model 7 seats , perfect Car with lava rent , we spend 1700.00 euro for 8 days renting , is the most expensive travel of my life ... But Iceland is the most incredible country in world ! An alien planet in Earth! Top top top top ! See my video gopro

hi laurent, did you sleep in a tent/car or did you always drive to something like a hotel/hostel?

+Julian Stadelmann hi Julian ! We have always slept in a tent... June 2015 was a great period for that: no rain during all the trip! Do you go to Iceland soon ?

+Laurent Toussaint thanks for the quick response! ok great, yeah we are going to iceland in july and we are thinking of sleeping in a tent or maybe the car, if it is big enough... sounds like you had luck! did you buy your tent there? :)

+Julian Stadelmann we bought our tent in France, just before the trip. it was a Vaude Taurus 3p, and we were entirely satisfied by this material, highly resistant to wind. you're very lucky to go in Iceland this summer, enjoy!!

+TOU LAO c'est un budget, mais c'est incomparable sur le rendu. pour moi l'Islande valait cet investissement. par contre matériel fragile. y'a qd meme moyen de faire de belles choses sans. ;-)
