I see casings are the “in” thing in lawn fertilizers. Scott’s fertilizers here in USA are loaded with casings. I think my lawn mower sucks up most of it though as the casings sit on the lawn.

I would apply after you mow. They use them on sports fields a lot here in Australia

Hi Cheryl, lots of work here to still do. All we can do really is manage the water better over time through good practices
@AJay-gq9yyКүн бұрын
Marty could you imagine what it would look like if you hadn’t improved the soil. Just think back to when when you first moved in.
@martysgardenКүн бұрын
For sure, it was compacted clay then. It happens more than I like so I need to keep building the soil and possibly a swale to direct water as well.

@danniellejones7167Күн бұрын
Maybe you could work something out with the neighbour to get drainage out to the street from that retaining wall? The council or housing should have been onto that after 2022 floods. I hope it drains quickly for you Marty

Yer, been doing that from day one to see how it goes over time. It might even be great for just sprouting fresh food for them. Once the rain stops I will throw some compost on top as well and start sprouting their food also on top of the bales. Be a very interesting trial.

Hey Marty, I just found your channel. I'm looking at doing my red wigglers outdoors. Going to try a big windrow. I had a couple of large bins going last year. Probably about 3,000 worms, made a lot of compost tea from their castings. I currently have a small mushroom Farm and boy do I have a lot of food for these babies this year?
