Nofr does the ANC have the Veto power thats why they need the DA and others before anything is passed. Thats what people voted for and expect, so make it happen that way. The answer to the question about the 60% is very simple to answer but it seems Razmataz is tired. It’s 60% consensus not 60% electoral support. Meaning 60% of the members of the GNU must agree NOT parties that constitute 60% of the electoral support must agree. So ANC and DA can’t just go around deciding together and ignoring other members simply because they constitute 60% electoral support. Clement also needs to distinguish between the functions of political parties and the functions of Cabinet. There needs to be a clear separation of power between party and state which is what DA has been making noise about for the longest time. So SG is tired, he needs to rest and reset.
