How can Agent Smith be "alive" here if he was killed (removed) in Matrix 3 (after he is copied into Neo). They (God of Machines ) had a backup of Smith's code? In Matrix 1 why Agents didn't trace "Neo's" car to place where he met Morpheus and didn't kill Morpheus there. Of course they extracted that bug from Neo's body before the mirror scene but the car can always be foliowed by Agents - under cover. I know that killing Morpheus so quickly would make Matrix 1st movie very short and 2nd plus 3rd movie without one of main characters. Good recap. Thanks.

They tried to pull off the movie with just nostalgia, yet they didnt cast original morpheus and smith, which might have saved this movie. The story was mainly replicated from the 1st movie.
