I was so impressed and have been spellbound whenever I see them visited the Edinboygh tattoo just to see them for real several times and my knees go weak every time. One great thing about marching bands is they let you hear different sections of the band as they pass . One bad thing is that unless your very fortunate and they start a piece at just the right time you'll miss either the beginning or the end . And if it's a pipe band , and your truly lucky they won't play at all until your out of ear shot .

Great turn out and sharp as tack drill. I watched some of The Rifles at a parade the other day, they looked like bags of shyte and their drill was the same. Delighted to see that drill and turn out is still important to other units in HM Forces
