My wife and I found your site by accident and we are so happy that we did. I just purchased a Z6III(which is a challenge in and of itself) and gave my wife my D5300. Your class is informative and you make it so easy to understand. We like the "module concept" and the break to practice what we just learned. The segment on histograms is especially informative because up to this point I had no idea of the secrets locked in the histogram. We are continuing our learning and excited about the Exposure Triangle. Thank you so much for the time and effort you put into this training.

@@ParkerPhotographic Have you used it yet? You'd absolutely know if you have ;) I'm talking about LRc v13.3 - what you shown in your video is an earlier version of LRc without AI Denoise. Topaz Denoise AI is pretty decent, but not quite as good, there's more detail loss using Topaz than with LRc.

Will this work on import for DNG files too ? (because you did denoise on each image first). I'm also confused about setting auto on in Develop panel, since it's only in the Basic tab there. Does that mean if your preset has settings under Tone Curve, Color Mixer, Color Grading, Detail, your Masks, etc. - Will they also be applied?

Thanks for an excellent illustration of the five "rules" or principles of composition and how they can be combined or "layered" to create better landscape photos. I would further say that going out and practicing - just take photos of various scenes - with these principles in mind and them coming back to your home base and reviewing them, will help photographers to internalize them. Don't make the mistake of viewing them on that 3" back screen on your camera to make the judgement. Bring that card back and look at those images on your computer so you can really see the details and experiment with the cropping that may improve things.

Hi, thanks for sharing this! I use Lightroom Classic for my photo editing and I have been enjoying the Auto edit button a lot. I was wondering whether there was the technology to automatically select the best photos with AI or another automated technology? I spend so much time picking my fav pictures! Any help is highly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, thanks for the information. Can these smart previews be created at the time of import? Or when you do it that way, it optimizes the program better so that it runs faster. Thanks.

Hello, thank you very much for the information. One question, finally, which preview do you recommend, without slowing down the machine or losing quality for smooth editing? Standard or 1:1? Should I remove the "Create smart previews" option? Since I saw that you disabled it. Thanks. One last question, when I insert an SD memory into my laptop, then move those photos to a folder on my internal disk, is it correct to import those photos that I placed in that folder to the LrC program, right? in order to edit them.

Thanks. I have a question regarding some cropping that I had to do yesterday for about 30 images. I want to crop at 1200X1200 pixels. I know that I can select square and then drag the crop tool but sometimes it's very difficult to get the precise size that I want. I also know that I can choose a different size square and later resize but I prefer to only do that in worst case situations. Is there a way to precisely get the size the I want using the arrow keys to increment height and width? Or maybe somewhere where I can type the desired size (not aspect ratio).?

Interesting, However, I believe few need the enhancement difference provided for the $199 for topaz vs what I am paying for Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom $9.99 monthly which runs $120 year with lots of upgrades of the Adobe Software. Who knows after a year that Topaz makes a major upgrade then charges another price to get the upgrades. The average non-Photographer will be hard to find that can see the minute details between application of either software. Very interesting I will stick with Lightroom Denoise Ai which no doubt will improve over time. I do appreciate your imparting your knowledge of the various softwares available to us.

Like many, I've recently moved from the Evil Adobe Empire. I quite like NEO. However, I think the inability to rename files and add keywords is probably going to be the reason I move on to something else. The search engine seems to work quite well, but I have over 100,000 images and it only looks at file and folder names. Not very useful at all !!!!
