Really nice overlanding trailer. But.... a starting price of $33k for the Nomad and $43k for the Voyager. LOL By the time one finishes adding accessories that are necessary, u can add $10k to $15k to that price. It can't take me anywhere--I need something with an engine to do that. I can't stand up in it. I can't use the bathroom in it, etc. I recently bought a Mazda CX-50 Meridian Edition. It has an awesome 256hp turbo engine that produces 320lbs of torque. AWD. Heating (no heating offered in the Nomad). Air conditioning. Beautifully appointed leather seating and other areas. An onboard computer system that automatically stops and drives my car. It has 4 wheels (not 2) with awesome suspension, wheels, and tires. The drive-train is incredible. And more... for $43k off the dealership's parking lot with taxes, title, fees, etc., included. The engineering and cost of the engine in my Mazda surpasses the cost of this entire teardrop trailer, alone. I'm not questioning whether this is a nicely engineered and built teardrop trailer. It is. I'm questioning who in their right mind would spend this kind of money for something that's worth half the price? I wish I were young enough to have the time to engineer and build something of this quality for 1/2 the price. It can be done. And the individual that comes up with this formula will be a very rich person. If only I had Elon's phone #. lol

My question is, how necessary is it to have an A/C in a teardrop? I guess if you live in the Southeast where it's very humid at night but most other areas in the U.S. cool off at night. Hmm... interesting but is it necessary?
@ChopperChad13 күн бұрын
Sounds like it's not for you then, but here in Texas, it's necessary.

Nice!! There is plenty of space inside. I especially like how they did design it around doors to keep water out. I'm amazed how much campers are now too much. I'm not sure how much this one is. I've own through the years a 34' rv, a fifth wheel and travel trailer how and a truck camper, my favorite was the truck camper cause it didn't take up much space and I could just pull over and go to sleep.

You guys are high as hell with these prices. Are you just banking on people not knowing what a tiny trailer costs? The base trailer regardless of fancy suspension costs has to cost less than 2,000$. Are you guys claiming that a camper shell with a couple cheap add ons is worth 30-40k? I honestly want to call your company evil for even asking that price. Won't be in business long at all 🤷♂️

Hey your video is too slow in the beginning, it will get a high click through as a short. It’s one big zoom shot, you could show more features of your product. I get you were trying to time it to the drop in Aerosmith which is a good technique, but 1/2 your video is us just staring at google maps and then scrambling to read the text.

I had seen this trailer before in pics, for some reason it didn’t impress me all that much, maybe the shape or something, it just didn’t stand out. And just out of curiosity.... It seems to fit the same.catagory.or.many different teardrops currently on the market based only on this short video. That being said it does look appealing enough to warrant a trip to the website of this company to see what,.may, set it apart from it's competition..
@EscapodTrailers7 ай бұрын
At first glance the TOPO2 might feel similar to other teardrops on the market. What truly makes the TOPO2 stand out is our approach on build construction. Most fiberglass trailers are a shell or skin that lays overtop of a wooden frame. When we moved away from our Original TOPO Model, we moved away from any wood construction as well. We now use the infusion method to create a fiberglass composite model to create the body of the trailer - which fully encompasses the structure and the insulation! This style of construction is to ensure that our trailer is build to last!

I know Nomad doesn't have heating option add on but the vents above the doors along the ceiling are still present. The grate cover things in the mudroom area is still present too. Are these just space holders then? Any room or thoughts on utilizing them?

To Escapod: I appreciate you working to expand the lineup. Why was the inside cabinetry changed? I liked the cleaner look of the topo2. Also it seems like the supply for heating is still there? Is there the possibility of adding an external heater...I am thinking of the kind made for roof top tents?
