No comparto la última parte del vídeo. La apertura de la raqueta y la parte del "lag" se genera por la rotación de la cadera que es empujada por los músculos posteriores con el avance del tobillo en su biomecánica de empuje

Better to say 'pull your arm around' rather than 'pull your arm forward' as the swing biomechanics are rotational, not linear.
Hello, great video! Do I need to consciously straighten my left arm when swinging forward on my backhand, or will the left arm naturally straighten by itself when swinging forward?

Great video. I look forward to working on these. One question: the Kyrgios forehand and I think others I have checked show the elbow in closer, with bent about 45? Is this a next gen thing? Is it OK if I go that way? It feels more controlled and powerful.

I believe the flip is the result of having the left hand as the dominant hand, hitting a left handed forehand. The flip is the equivalent of allowing the left hand lag during the forehand.

If you follow Djo's fist, it has a slight C shape. Not just a drop. Drop and accelerate is a bit demanding for recreational players. I have tested and tried.

If I may add, use a fresh overgrip for extra adherence so you don’t hold your racquet too tight.

Your student steps into the ball too early. He is already stepping forward as he prepares the racket to hit. The step goes at the same time as the strike to the ball like you did.
