Most boxing fans regardless of nationality will blame the ref for what they think is an early stoppage. In Mexico however, fighters are mostly brought up to go toe to toe and if you're gonna lose, go out on your shield. Mexican boxing is not for everyone, if you're soft it just won't be your cup of tea.

Good fight close fight. Haney won, but... lets face it, he's dull as a wet day in March! Linares fought a great fight and was unlucky not to put him away. Almost a shame they dont go 15 rounds anymore.
