you can't cycle a tank in a week in my opinion , helpful vids
@stefaniverson2739 Жыл бұрын
Depends. You can’t cycle a filter in a week, but if you have an established filter you can “cycle a tank” instantly.

great vid mate but it aint no asian arowana its a gulf saratoga (jardini)

?if I go out and buy 150 gl tank would it be okay just to let the fish just grow in that tank z or should I grow him out in a smaller tank and then move him into the bigger tank.
@JacobDaDJ2 жыл бұрын
It's great if you can start them off in a bigger tank. 150 g is great!

Dont feed your fish live fish! Feeder fish have a life too and are raised cruely in small tanks! Feed pellets or frozen food

I have 2 oscars and 8 silver dollars in a bare bottom 150 gal 5x2x2, with overkill filtration........I would never keep a single oscar in anything less than 120 gal 4x2x2.......they say 75 gal min for 1 oscar, some say 50 gal min, but im experienced enough in keeping these fish, and they get huge. A 14 inch fish needs adequate space.....you wouldnt buy a dog and lock it in a small room for its life, but people thinks its ok to do it to fish....sad
@JacobDaDJ2 жыл бұрын
I'm getting a 5x2x2 tank soon as well but I don't see the appeal of just 1 fish in a tank, imma put some thicc bois I'm there with my future Oscar like severums and my blood partot
@stavros6930003 жыл бұрын
An Arowana is only a good tank mate for oscars if you have a 300 gallon set up! good vid bro👍

Can I get a 65 Gallon for 2 Oscars. Dimension (40Lx16Bx24H)
@slickchick58113 жыл бұрын
No way too small. Oscars get huge make a lot of waste and are territorial. You're looking at a 125 -150 for two minimum and that's assuming they get along.

Yes arowanas can be good tank mates but for the love of god don’t do it though if it’s a Jardini. If it’s much smaller for a little while ok but otherwise certainly not.

Can you keep multiple Asian Arowana together? BTW yours is BEAUTIFUL. I'm moving to Canada as soon as I'm old enough to move out (I'm currently 13) just so I can have them. If they can be kept together I'm gonna have a few each in a different color. They are GORGEOUS fish.
