10:53 Is so clever. I love their interactions, and the evolution of Roz earning the respect of Niles via pure wit. I love their dynamic, you can tell that her mere presence lights his spirit and intellect on fire. They could be lovers if Niles wasn't so snooty and judgmental of her lifestyle.

Never has there been a show where simple sibling rivalry and high class knowledge collided so beautifully.

The deliberately wicked lie of how the Roz character would wind up is the ONLY ugly thing about this show. Otherwise - PERFECT!

Remember what mom said, "A handshake is as good as a hug". This is all the psychological back story we need, to know why the Crane brothers are psychiatrists.

Sort of typical Hollywood writing, the jokes were funny but they wrote a show about two Psychiatrist brothers and obviously never figured out the difference between a psychologist and a psychiatrist a psychiatrist is an M.D. and wouldn't be squeamish about turkey or human entrails they would have learned by dissecting corpses among other aspects of surgery
