Pro tip from a big eater: Chik Fil A makes an avocado ranch dressing (you can find it in the refrigerated salad section) and it's killer on fish tacos.

I suppose it would work with filets, but I just split them along the spine. Lay the fish on heavy aluminum foil-skin side down. Fold the edges of the foil up to make a shallow pan. Pour some lemon juice over them. Add some course ground black pepper and copious chunks of butter. Then place the foil pan over some hot, smokey HICKORY coals. The trout is done when the top is golden, the edges are slightly blackened and the meat flakes easy. You're welcome.

Oh yea that's the only way to do a trout. If U split them down the back b4 cooking U can get like 90% the bones out. Not many ppl do that

Does rainbows are good eating they would be even better if you didn't have to pick throw tge bones.There very good grilled just put some Garlic better on them.Also good baked put some Lemon pepper on tgem baked.

Oh yea and forgot to mention I took some of the creek bugs I ordered from my 1st order with me to crooked and I caught plenty it did not disappoint!! Everytime I go they love it it never fails man I almost got a 5-7 pounder but he didn’t eat the bug fully before I set the hook I was too excited lol but I’ll get the monster I’m hunting for soon enough just got to be patient

The first couple of Blue Gill is what is called a war mouth it looks like a bluegill and a red eye had a baby atleast that's what we call them in saltville
