Hey I’m going to go into college in a few weeks and I’m still deciding if i would get an advantage getting an English degree or an education degree what do you think is the best your degree in your opinion to get a good teaching job?

I am glad that you're able to discover your thing. I travel non stop and have been blessed. I see your video is 3 years old, by now I hope you have learned that not everyone is after cash. You lost last me when you judged your friend who has a family and he's not making lost of money. Money is not everything, maybe your friend is happy. Stop doing that bro! Judging or comparing what you're doing to others. Everyone is not after the almighty dollar. I have met and lived with enough of "rich" people with cash who're poor in life. Everyone is on their own journey. But thanks for the insight about teaching English abroad. Good luck to u!
@Edgeofdavid18 күн бұрын
Actually I do agree with you. I regret saying that, being blessed to have a family. Yea that's really important.

I agree with that part about not having a plan. I read several stories of people working abroad where they were basically just taking an extended vacation, partying, drinking. One guy had less than $1000 in his account despite working for a long time, another person came back and had no opportunities so he just worked in construction at a minimum wage $20/hr. All those years wasted which proves this uploader's point.
@Iceman21922 күн бұрын
$20/hr is not that bad, and definitely not minimum wage

ehm ehm i Visited in 2023 and I really enjoyed the place! I was not there during the weekend. I do not know what you are looking for when you are traveling but Vung Tau and Qhi Nhon are two places I really enjoyed. More than Danang and Nha Trang. I had that little feeling of discovering something new, something a little different and out of the usual tourist route

Hey David does this only to apply to people who have stayed close to or over 30 days? I’d wanna go to Bali maybe 2-3 days days after landing in Thailand so when I come back to Thailand I’d have to get this permit even though I only spent maybe 2-3 days in Thailand

The same scam has happened to me in Saigon. I met a girl on tinder and she told me to meet up in a bar for a date and gave me the address so I went there and then she met me and took me to a bar called "diamond bar" inside the alleyway. It's more like a counter bar and she told me to order some drinks, fruit and laughing gas balloons. Eventually, I realised that it's some kind of a scam and she was trying to make me buy more so I said no and the bill was 1751000 vnd. How do I report this scam?

Getting stuck is in the mind. I'm not sure this is about geography. I know people who have traveled the world, and they're boring to talk to. Their mind is stuck. Freedom comes from within, not without. Walking around a busy Vietnam street, where the noise is unbearable, I'd feel stuck there. It is a good idea to leverage your time, and leverage your salary so that you are not on a treadmill, as you say, but being stuck is truly all in the mind.

Add Midnight Club to the list. I fell for the Tinder scam. Went back to check google reviews, and yup...it's a scam club. Next night I met up with a chick and it was in same area lol. Ate, then she told me she has a balloon card smh. I ended up ditching her before even going into Midnight Club. Fool me once. Started talking to two other chicks on Tinder here in Hanoi...told them both the rooftop places for us to meet. Both of them wanted me to meet them at "their favorite bar" instead. One girl told me the place she goes to often is The Circle. Negative. Yea, fuck Hanoi. I'm just going to meet Vietnamese chicks while I'm out and about. It's not that hard. I'm done meeting up with chicks on Tinder in Hanoi...unless she's down to go to the places I want to go to. Normal chicks, for the most part, are okay with meeting you at the place you want.

I'm in Hanoi and I just got scammed. Met her on Tinder. She wasn't that pretty and talked for a week so I thought it was legit. We went to an outdoor restaurant, the same area you showed. After eating, she asked to walk around and then go to a club afterwards. I refused to go to the club and she was visibly irritated and left. Later I realized the restaurant charged my card over 4 million VND. I learned my lesson. Fuck dating apps.
@Edgeofdavid2 ай бұрын
No, fuck Hanoi. Not bragging, but I'm a decent looking guy and do quite well on dating apps. I've never had this issue anywhere. Not Saigon. Not Jakarta. Not Bangkok. Not Mexico City. Not Seoul. Only Hanoi. I love Hanoi, but don't bother using dating apps and like anywhere else, meet for something casual like coffee. If they don't want to meet for this, then you spared yourself from investing time, emotions and money.

Apparently the AHA Cafe in Hàng Buồm is also a place where dating app scam girls bring guys, check the lowest reviews on Google. An idea for your website could be a list of places where these scams happen.

@@Edgeofdavid After watching a couple of reviews looks like the X3000 can be used without the external microphone and the sound quality is great, not sure the same applies to other cameras. Maybe that’s the advantage x3000 has over other cameras, it’s just a little less ‘hassle-free’

You can find even less expensive rentals up country if you look. Is that really the 'dream' of Westerners ... to find a back water hovel that rents for little money? What sort of work do you folks do in Thailand to support your lifestyle?
