If you're on a non-Xbox device, there's no need to go into settings for cross play. If you dont sign into your MS account on your non-Xbox account, then you're not cross playing. It's all dependent on signing into your MS account.

I've been trying to cross play I have a Nintendo switch and my nephew has an Xbox They keeps telling me that I cannot connect to him I see him online I added him and everything It just will not let me connect and play with him we're both even on the same network and still not working I reset it the router and that doesn't help either I don't know what the problem that's if you have a solution please let me know

Sucks that this no longer works… wanted to play some old ps2 games. Like nfs underground and stuff like that. Guess I’ll have to just buy a ps2 and hopefully find copies of the games I’m looking for. Would just emulate on pc. But I don’t have the money for that so. Can’t do that.

good evening I would like to comment here because I have a serious problem I bought a Final Fantasy XIII 13 2 expansion for €64 2 Like Me returns Fable 3 just before closing this Saturday and Sunday and since closing this Monday 29 July 2024 my 360 can no longer connect to Xbox Live I constantly have an error message I tried everything to turn it back on, turn it off and on again my unplugged box reconnect the Ethernet cable and what worked this Sunday no longer works from now on do you have the same problem where am I the only one who can no longer access Xbox Live on 360 at all since the store closed this Monday July 29, 2024? I'm very worried because it amounts to having paid for things to which I am no longer allowed access from now on which is serious Nintendo has closed the Wii U and the 3DS and I can still use everything I paid for what is happening -he? see you soon thank you

Does this mean for whatever Xbox 360 content still exists (which i know isn’t all) on Xbox one/series marketplace, and you haven’t got the content yet but now getting it, can you get it when owning on One/Series or is this for when you already bought those games on a 360 specifically? Because i know before this, whatever 360 games you bought on one and never had on 360 it would be owned on 360 but idk if this is the case now and haven’t been able to try it yet. I can’t find anything about it either

Hopefully I can explain this correctly. As you already know, there are many Xbox 360 games that are compatible with both the Xbox One and the Series consoles. If you originally purchased the 360 games on the 360 console, they will carry over to the Xbox One and Series. This you already know, not all 360 games are compatible with the Xbox One and Series. So if you purchased a 360 game that's not compatible with the Xbox One nor the Series, then the only way to redownload and play those purchased games is through the Xbox 360. For instance, my two favorite games on the 360 are the two Transformers games. They're not compatible with the Xbox One nor the Series. Even though the 360 Marketplace is now closed, I can still download them ...as you can see in the video. Hope this answers your question. Thanks for checking out my video and commenting.

That’s what I mean because before the store shut down i noticed the 360 picks up on 360 content u bought on newer consoles but I don’t know if this is the case now. I know there’s stuff not compatible with one, and I know there’s stuff not available anymore. But for those things still available, will it still transfer to 360 when bought on a newer console using the same account

So i'ts been awhile but if i remember correctly: If you connect your PC/Laptop to your 360 via the Media Center, you can stream music from your collection-OR download to your storage , then use it as background music when you play a game. I think (don't quote me) that the same works for background themes, where you can load off your HDD from laptop/PC & install custom themes.

Downloading old stuff has always been a pain. It's so slow and half the time it gets stuck in an infinite load and crashes. And you can't sort it's everything you've ever Downloaded.

It's always been a pain and a bigger pain if you purchased a replacement console and had to redownload everything AND had to do the license transfer. Glad things are better now with the current consoles.
