It feels like Renault hates the Renault enthusiast of the United States. I said "enthusiast" in the singular because I have yet to personally meet another one, and even then, I only really want a Twingo because look at how adorable it is!

What is impressive about this? It's body on frame. Much less complicated than say chopping a car from the 50s

Much bigger repair bills. The absurd heat from the hot V deteriorates the underhood plastics at a fast rate. Prepare to pay M prices for stuff that shouldn't be plastic put in hot places thatt should have metals.

I thought he was gonna say 1000 hp or some shit, then he hit me with the 400hp xD
@samanderson64887 сағат бұрын
400hp in a car that weighs 1000lbs less than something like a scat pack or 500lbs less than an m3 isnt something to scoff at. Thats a power to weight ration similar to a 2014 porsche 911
@sconartist10 сағат бұрын
Anyone complaining about 400bhp needs to realize that’s more than a stock scat at easily less than half the weight
@battles.digital8 сағат бұрын
And the owner plans on making like DOUBLE that pretty soon, too
@BarringtonRobinsonII8 сағат бұрын
Stock Scat is 485bhp flywheel , this is 400 flywheel and a Scat is 1900kg and this is easily 1600kg.
@sconartist7 сағат бұрын
@@BarringtonRobinsonIIwhere in this short is the 400hp specified to the crank?
@samanderson64887 сағат бұрын
@@BarringtonRobinsonII a quick google search shows a stock scat is closer to 2000kg and a stock golf r is just under 1600kg, with the rear seats removed and all of the excess weight cut from the car even with a roll cage this thing prolly shed about 50kg+ in the build. So figure 400-500kg lighter thats almost half a ton.

That thing weighs nothing it’s definitely flying 😂😂
@battles.digital8 сағат бұрын
“Only 400hp” ok, and this thing weighs not too much, has some wide & sticky tires, AND the owner plans on making more in the future. This thing would be incredible to drive on track.

my 1st car was a '93 LeBaron convertible. about once a month I have a dream that i'm still driving it. there was just something about the way you felt the engine was pulling you around...dunno. maybe it has something to do with how low you sat behind the V6. i loved hitting the gas on the highway in that car. plus, it gave me ZERO mechanical issues until it hit 170k and as a teenage I wasn't exactly following the maintenance schedule! haha. classic Chrysler imo!
