Thank you for your honest review!! I had only heard of people that said it really was great for them and its good to hear the flip side of the coin as well. I am now 36 weeks pregnant and I have been debating a lot on consuming my placenta, but it seems most medics are seriously advising against it and I was starting to not know what to think. But now I think I'll just do as you did. Let the pills be made and really observe my symptoms and my baby's when I use them and continue or discontinue accordingly

I'm baffled that anyone (unless underweight) is told they should gain weight in the first trimester. In the UK we are told we only need extra calories in the third trimester.
