Lendale white played with two of the fastest players ever in Reggie bush and Chris Johnson and he was there when bush won the Heisman and when Chris Johnson ran for 2000 yards 😂 he needs a podcast

THANKS, TREV! I really dig this version of Ultron than the newer one that just came out. On the new one, you can't place the Kirby-crackle energy in his mouth.👎
Can you believe how bad the quality is? It's only about 17 years ago....but it looks like the moon landing tapes.

He was better off letting Jerrett score. USC had no defense that season. ND would've had a minute and 20 seconds left with all 3 timeouts. No way USC would've stopped ND.

LOL, I HAVE TO CHUCKLE, "THE GOOD OL DAYS??" NO DOUBT A GREAT CLUTCH PLAY!! I TOO JUMPED!!! BUT TRY WATCHING THE ENTIRE 1974 USC ND GAME. ND UP 24-0 IN THE SECOND HALF USC WAS ON FIRE!!!! IN 30 MIN. (AND 6 SECONDS FROM THE END OF THE SECOND QUARTER WHEN SC SCORD AND MISSED THE PAT. 24-6) USC HAD A "55" POINT SWING!!!!! SC 55-24 ND. BEST USC GAME IVE ENER SEEN. I WAS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!!! A LOT OF YOU MISSED THE 60'S AND 70'S ...I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE OLD ENOUGH in the 70's (just old enough to know what i was watching) TO KNOW AND LOVE FOOTBALL BECAUSE MY DAD PLAYED....AS A YOUNG KID USC WAS SO MUCH FUN TO WATCH!!! SPORTS ILLUSTRATED NAMED THE 1972 TEAM THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME...MY PERSONAL OPINION WAS THE 2004-5 TEAM WAS THE GREATEST....AND LETS BE HONEST....IF NOT FOR THE TEXAS QB/RB!!!! USC WOULD HAVE BEATEN TEXAS IN 2006 FOR THEIR 3RD STRAIGHT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP....USC BEATS TEXAS 90 TIMES OUT OF 100 IN 2006.....SO GREAT FOR THOS TEXAS PLAYERS!!! GREAT JOB!!! BUT REALITY....USC HAD A MUCH BETTER TEAM....but my point was, THE 1970'S THROUGH ABOUT 84-85?? WHEN SC BEAT OHIO STATE IN THE ROSEBOWL..IT WAS A GREAT STRETCH...(FROM 1965 TILL 1981, SC WON 4 HEISMANS, SHOULD HAVE WON 6 HEISMANS!!! BECAUSE MOST EVERYONE VOTED "BEFORE" ANTHONY DAVIS PLAYED THAT 1974 55-24 GAME. AND THEY GAVE IT TO ARCHIE GRIFFIN FOR THE SECOND YEAR!!! EAST COAST BIAS PLUS PREVOTING....AD SHOULD HAVE WON.....RICKY BELL SHOULD HAVE WON (GEORGE ROGERS WON).....RICKY BELL WAS THE WORKHORSE TAILBACK FOR THE BRAND NEW EXPANSION TAMPA BAY TEAM...EXPANSION TEAMS BACK THEN DIDNT GET PLAYERS FROM OTHER TEAMS LIKE THEY DO TODAY!!! JOHN MCKAY TOOK THAT TEAM IN 3 OR 4 YEARS AND WAS IN THE AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!!! MCKAY NEEDS MORE CREDIT THAN HES EVER RECEIVED. BUT--- MIKE GARRET, OJ, (ANTHONY DAVIS, RICKY BELL) CHARLES WHITE THEN MARCUS ALLEN ALL HEISMAN PLAYERS. AFTER MARCUS....RODNEY PETE FINISHED 2ND AS WELL IN THE HEISMAN RACE.....IT WAS A GREAT RUN!!! BUT AFTER JOHN MCKAY AND JOHN ROBINSON BOTH WENT TO THE NFL.....SC BEGAN TO BE AVERAGE THEN ALMOST GREAT..MANY GREAT PLAYERS....BUT A TEAM NEEDS A GOOD FIT HEAD COACH... LINCOLN RILEY IS GOING TO BE THE NEXT GREAT COACH AT USC!!! FIGHT ON!!

As an Irish fan I will say this until the day I die, ND should've let him score on that 4th and 9 play. ND had Brady Quinn, Jeff Samardzija, Maurice Stovall, Anthony Fasano, and Darius Walker. ND was at home with all 3 timeouts and would've had at least 1:20 left. On top of it all, USC had no defense that year. There's no doubt in my mind Notre Dame would've been the team that scored with 3 seconds left instead of USC.

Looking back, what a FING joke ND is, was, has always been. 18 years later. * ND is 0-14 in the last 14 bowl games against TOP 15 (15). 1995 CO last T15 team. * Part of a conf, 1 time in its history. 1 conf title game in its history, a loss (Clem, 2020 I think). * always faced Navy in the last game so their bowl matchups were never threatened.

Yes I agree but even after watching this 4th down play years later I am glad Dwayne made a clutch play.
@JohnHoulgate Жыл бұрын
Dwayne Jarrett was the reload of Mike Williams. Like Jarrett, Williams had no breakaway speed, but he had size and could dominate DBs like no one. Both were part of Norm Chow's offensive strategy of creating mismatches. The speed was in the running backs. Reggie Bush doubled as a wide receiver, so that's where USC had the breakaway factor among the receiving corp.
