Thank you for your tips. We developed what we thought was a broken line after we had some tree trimming on an old oak tree. The branches were very heavy that hit the ground. Of course the company denied it was their fault. I showed them my zones were not delivering the usual pressure I had seem before. Still denied it. So I started do my own investigation before calling a sprinkler company.. After digging 3 zones to see if any heads we damaged I took a break. We lived in Florida so it was 92 outside. And I am 71. So sitting down and enjoying a cold Bud Light I surfed the net and came across this video.I closed of all the zone heads and pressurized the line. In 10 mins I located the leak, as water was coming up through the lawn. Thank God I watched that video. It saved us probably thousands of dollars. Trying to close the sprinkler head by screwing down didn't work too well. I dug up the heads and removed it and capped them off. Hope that helps everyone. " Google It ", lol

How did you program the second time? I only saw am watering. What about pm watering?

For all who have been struggling with the extra times per station, specifically to REMOVE the extra start times… Here’s how you do it… starting with the second time, push the start time button, then drop the time shown to 12:00 AM… that’s the OFF position. Then do that for each of the extras start times for each station programmed for the extra times. This is a very cool timer, but it’s tricky, and like all timers that have limitations… but…I struggled with getting the extra times off a couple of stations that were a new lawn.. Good luck!

I would highly suggest, before you cut tree roots, especially of that size with small trees, to either learn what root your cutting out and or take a class so you do not kill an entire half of a tree, I say this from experience and most likely whatever major limb overhung that root is probably going to die.. if you live in a hot low humidity area/ high desert it will effect the tree. excellent vid for finding the leak I would have put a tarp down, to deter dirt clumps in the grass other than that great job.

I have an Orbit 6 zone controller I just installed on a GFCI circuit but I only have 5 zones on my sprinkler system. When it gets to zone 6 it trips the GFCI breaker. Do I need to install a jumper wire between 5 and 6 so the GFCI gets the correct feedback and prevent the tripping? Thanks for your time

Hello. My problem is the water will continue to leak from the top of the siphon valve cap. I replaced the siphon valve with a brand new balve cap from home Depot rainbird brand and slso tried ising 2 other used valve caps. What can you suggest? Thank you

Hey, I seem to have a leak in bathroom floor or in the wall. But, we when I check my meter. Neither the Triangle or Red Arm moving. I see the water on my floor but I have no clue as to where it is coming. I have noticed that my back yard holds water after a heavy storm. What I want to ask. Is it possible that the rain water finding a way up into my foundation? I had both of my toilets check out. Both are sealed. My next move inside was to see if the shower plumbing might be leaking. It is not a heavy leak but it does get a little wet. I also thought I noticed a brown stain in the toilet next to the leak. I was wondering if that is a sign. Or just the substance in the water. Anyway, I'll take any advice for my next step.

For the low-voltage wire conduit coming in on bottom right hole in the timer box, did you do anything special (grommet or whatever) to seal the conduit to the box to keep water and bugs out? Mine currently just has pvc pipe conduit ending close to box, but not even touching the box, and just seems kind of cheesy to leave it that way.
