The word for headcovering is "khimar" and "jilbaab" in the Quran. Khimar is mentioned in verse "Noor" and jilbaab is mentioned in verse al-Ahzab.

This practice ensured that his teachings could be accurately transmitted and preserved for future generations. According to my analysis the word is from صل which means to commit, to connect, to achieve, to link or to adhere, and more related meanings including the following, dealing or facing, all these are under the connection. And it comes more than 200 in the book. The the ritual prayers can also be called as the word because it is connection between them and their target.
