Hi, I have Jeep WJ 4.7 today I tried to remove all the air bubbles, it took me 2 hours and I couldn't remove all the bubbles, I had to leave. Do I have to repeat this later? Is this sure to help remove all the air bubbles? But maybe i have head gasket leak? :((

okay so idk if you can help much with this but i bought my bike off of a friend BRAND NEW and a relative rode it, fell & broke the brake handle 😭 how can i fix that??
@whitewolfgaming6969

Not really a way to fix that short of getting a new brake handle but you know that little pedal on the right side of the peg is the rear brakes right
@cristianmedico2476

I drove one like that and to turn it you really have to push those handle bar and if you throw some meat on the fuel tank you can make some bbq
@MotorheadLars
@MotorheadLars Ай бұрын
Yep haha I ended up adjusting my bars so they don’t hit the tank anymore. Made it a little easier to turn also. Once you get used to the weight and balance of this bike it’s surprisingly easy to control and maneuver.

I have had my 2005 Midnight Silverado for 10 years now. It has 46k miles and still has plenty of get up and go. I did have to have the transmission rebuild at 32k miles @ $1k so not terribly expensive. The saddle bags have much more room than the Harleys I rode. I just love the way the bike looks and I get A LOT of compliments on it. Although it has a bit more leg room than the Harleys that I used to ride, it's not as comfortable as my old Ultra Classic was on long distance. The Harleys also have a much smoother ride motor wise imo. The road star has very good handling but when the front tire gets a little warn, due to the rake, it is sensitive to ware.
@MotorheadLars
@MotorheadLars Ай бұрын
Agree my Harley is definitely more comfy for long trips. Especially with all the fairings and windscreen. Wouldn’t have expected the trans to go at 32! That’s uncommon for these tanks from what I’ve read but I suppose anything can happen haha. I got a ton of compliments on my Roadstar too everyone said nice Harley! Then I had to break it to them it’s a Yamaha 😂.

What happened with the transmission? I heard they had some recalls. Love mine too.
@mrfelix2510
@mrfelix2510 13 күн бұрын
@@frankcastle1183they had transmission problems up until 2003. SUPPOSEDLY they fixed it in the newer models from 2004 on up. The problem was with the gears in the transmission not being machined correctly so they didn't lie up correctly and could have cadostrofic failures. And yes they were recalled. I know a lot of people say that these things are super reliable but I've had my share or problems with mine and then some and now it's down again. I have also read a lot online with others that seem to have a lot of problems as well but then I don't think amy bike is immune. I did ride Harleys back in the earlier 2000s and never have any problems. My Road Star is a 2005 and now I'm told by the Yamaha dealer that they won't work on one that old.

How did you buy it with a title
@MotorheadLars
@MotorheadLars Ай бұрын
I lucked out and bought it from the original owner who still had the certificate of origin, which is essentially the same as a title it’s just issued by the manufacturer when you buy it brand new.
@MotorheadLars
@MotorheadLars Ай бұрын
Of course, if for some odd reason, you needed a title for tags or whatever on public land, you can always get a bonded title. It costs about 100 bucks. Here in AZ, I’ve never been stopped or checked for tags. Especially on a little pit bike. Even if I’m riding around town it’s not a huge deal. So far.

That’s a good deal if it’s in good shape still look for cracks in plastic, fork seals leaking/bent forks, etc. good compression in motor if it doesn’t run as long as it has good compression you can get a carb for like $20

I believe it! Bike has such good torque there’s no need for the high rpm’s. It’s probably why the redline is 4750. Also pretty sure there’s a built in rev limiter to prevent any damage. It’s a tank.

Check the piston for contact, if its a non clearance motor a timing chain skip might make pistons and valves kiss Look for uneven gouges in the valve releifs. And/or when you get it back together with new valves intentionally time it 90-180° out either way and *very* gently turn it over with a socket and a ratchet, if it stops the tensioner or lack of one is likely what killed it If it turns over freely it wasnt timing related Either way you have to time it twice so the question is how bad do you want to know
@MotorheadLars
@MotorheadLars 2 ай бұрын
Fortunately, the piston looked fine no contact And I’ve went ahead and gotten new valves and seals etc. and had to replace one of the valve guides too since it snapped off. I may try that out of curiosity to see what it was but chances are I’ll probably just be eager to get it running as usual haha. Either way I will post some updates. But thank you all of that is super good info man. I can tell that you’ve done this more than a few times yourself! Always amazes me the wealth of knowledge you guys have.
