Cool! Is there any chance you could do "I should have known better" by Hinder?

I am not a musician, but I have always loved Curtis Mayfield's music. Good rendition and arrangement. Well done.

How is it possible that 400 people have watched this clip, only 9 have cared to like it, and none have commented? This was beautiful - I've commented more on your intermediate video just now. Thankyou for posting! :-)

This was wonderful to hear, thankyou. The song has a special meaning for me (it came out shortly after I went to university and the video, filmed in my beloved Derby, sparked a weapons-grade attack of homesickness). Hearing an entirely different arrangement of it has brought to the fore so much I hadn't noticed in the music and made me appreciate it more. Thankyou again!

It’s interesting that you would attempt a song like this Because it is so guitar driven But it sounds great If I was to request a song it would be Level 42s Leaving me now It’s the piano hook as the song fades, It would be easier to read than learn by ear If you listen to Mike Lindup’s piano hook that he plays I’m finding it really hard to source the sheet music You are a wonderful piano player Greetings from New Zealand Love your channel

Oh, I'll definitely keep that one in mind. I've had their "Something About You" in my "to-do" queue for quite some time, but didn't know the song you mentioned. I actually really love the challenge of taking guitar-heavy songs and translating them onto the keys!

viewLyricsVideosListenArtists I've these dreams I'm Walking home Home when it used to be And everything is As it was Frozen in front of me Here I stand Six feet small Romanticizing years ago It's a bitter sweet feeling hearing: "Wrapped Around Your Finger" On the radio And these days I wish I was six again Oh make me a red cape I wanna be Superman Oh, if only my life was more like 1983 All these things would be more like they were at the Start of me Had it made in 83 Thinking 'bout my brother Ben I miss him every day He looks just like his brother John But on an 18 month delay Here I stand Six feet small And smiling 'cause I'm scared as hell Kind of like my life is like a sequel to a movie Where the actor's names have changed, oh well Well these days I wish I was six again Oh make me a red cape I wanna be Superman Oh, if only my life was more like 1983 All these things would be more like they were At the start of me If my life was more like 1983 I'd plot a course to the source of the purest little part of me At most my memories Have escaped me Or confused themselves with dreams If heaven's all we want it to be Send your prayers to me Care of 1983 You can paint that house a rainbow of colours Rip out the floorboards Replace the shutters but That's my plastic in the dirt Whatever happened to my Whatever happened to my Whatever happened to my lunchbox? When came the day that it got thrown away And don't you think I should have had some say In that decision? If only my life If only my life If only my life If only my life If only my life If only my life If only my life If only my life

If you go on Musicnotes and search “Eklund” you will find 3289 arrangements by her. That’s not normal folks! This woman is an absolute genius. She also has books, podcasts and more all after a music publisher turned her down. She is an inspiration to women everywhere! This woman is another Einstein.

It was very nice but where are the dynamics? Was it an artistic choice to not include them in the piece? Not trying to take a jab at anyone...I'm genuinely curious as I have been listening to lots of piano covers lately
