The word hero, or in this case heroine, is thrown around far too easily these days. However this woman was and is 💯 one. She was a warrior and a seat awaits her in the halls of Valhalla. My condolences her husband, her family, all who served with her and the US. The world is weakened when people like this are removed from it.

I don't understand why KZfaqrs who make videos feel it's necessary to play the background music so loud, I don't know if it's because they are still figuring out the whole making videos thing, or they just luv music that much. It is still a good video don't get me wrong but loud background music does not make the video better, it actually hurts the video quality. But anyways good video thx for sharing this with us. I'm glad this Fella survived this brutal attack. 🙏
My uncle was a Seabee at Khe Sahn repairing the runway daily. I have always held him in the highest respect. How he lived through it is beyond words just like this warrior. After he got home, he spent his life serving veterans.

What an amazing story and what an amazing man. His recovery, physically and emotionally, is nothing short of a miracle. And I love his music!

"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security." This statement was written in in a document that was ratified 4 July 1776. On June 6 1944 the world saw first hand why it was in our founding document and what we were willing to do as a country. Though the greatest generation is all but gone there is still the greatest of all generations who have signed up and continue to sign up to fight for freedom. It has been almost 20 years since I was in Iraq I saw first hand that we didn't need all of my generation to fight but the best of my generation was goddamn impressive. CURAHEE

My father became good friends with a man who was part of the invasion. I had the honor of talking to him. He told me as he hit the water and headed up the beach, his comrades were getting hit all around him. When he got to the “safe” spot, he checked himself and couldn’t believe he wasn’t hit at all. He said, “God was watching over me that day.” I can’t begin to express the emotions I felt watching this and remembering his story. Thank you for the reminder. “Freedom truly isn’t free…”

It's cool to hear these stories because that is the exact same MOS I am signed for in the marine corps. And although today's battles aren't like they were back then. It's good to hear what I might have signed into
