i pressed the pump on there better and it stopped leaking, but then when i pressed the button it sprayed the windshield but started leaking again. You think its the grommet gasket thing seated in the reservoir?

Yes I think the grommet must have shrunk and dried out. It’s fun changing the pump and grommet. Good luck.

I was able to finally repair the throttle lock/operator presence lever on my 390XP. After watching your video and various other videos (two more I believe) and reading the official Husqvarna workshop manual, I gave it a try. The problem I was having was connecting the spring to the trigger, I was overthinking the darn (@#$%Q) thing. The spring portion that goes to the trigger has a hook at the end, and it was my understanding that it had to hook into/onto something. In the end all I did was place the end of the spring on top of the trigger rail, and pushed it forward. I found this out by mistake as I was giving up and it worked! On the successful try, I had the lever installed in under 30 seconds. Now I have to repair my broken throttle lock on my 372XP, which doesn't have a window in the hand grip. There is no way I could have repaired this without the window. Thank you for providing this video, I could not have repaired the saw without it.

Cool video. However if you want to compare your powder to Triple 7 or any other type of powder you need to shoot it. How much velocity do you get from a given charge with the same rifle, patch and ball? That's the real test.

I'm here in saskatchewan as well and teaching myself mechanics. I've recently done my sway bars and now I'm learning how to remove the water pump. What a shit show of engineering on the 2004 chev impala let me tell you. I've tried removing the ps pully but had no luck. Now I see there's an easier method. Thank you! I will try this later tonight

Hi everyone, does anyone knows what might be the cause of this? I got a propane torch and a 20 libs gas tank, I used for few times and it worked perfect, I tried again to use it and it has a very weak flame now. I tried with a 2 libs propane tank and it works perfect. The 20 libs propane tank worked in the beginning and it still nearly full tank, is not empty or anything like that.
@staffordshires2
@staffordshires2 Ай бұрын
Could be some impurity in the 20lb tank. I’d try turn the tank upside down, crack open the valve, and hopefully it will clear out the crap in the valve.

Thank you for this video, my son left his ziplock v 110 sealer at my home, I wasnt interested untill today. I found your video had to watch it three times mostly because I kept walking away and not paying attention. 🙄 Finally sat down to watch full video, its so simple, thank you! MAP gas almost always does this to my torches. I hate using it for this reason and mostly stick to the propane to avoid this problem. But the other day, I needed a hotter flame, and after I got done sure enough, it's clogged again...

So as you accelerate that flap should move? I have a mbe 4000 in a sterling and when I accelerate a check engine light comes on and if it stays on my engine brake and my engine fan stop working. Was your issue similar?
@staffordshires2
@staffordshires2 Ай бұрын
No, the flap should be open when you are running the engine. Soon as you take your foot off the accelerator with your engine brake on, then the flap will close to create exhaust pressure as an exhaust brake. My issue was lack of power and bad fuel mileage. Not sure why your engine fan would stop working?

Oh man I had to use one of these as a kid replacing the knives on our swather! My dad pulled the whole bar one time and I had to help him get it back in.. The blade got stuck on the way in and I saw where it was sticking.. So I pushed on it with my middle finger thinking I could pull it away quickly enough.. Nope! Those knives are extremely sharp and had my finger went further it would have chopped it right off! I got lucky and just got a deep cut.. The moral of the story being.. Find the stem of a tumble weed to do the pushing.. NOT YOUR FINGER!

There is nothing to compare, black powder and triple 7 are different compositions, triple 7 is nitrocelulose powder and it’s fast when coffined. Real black powder speed isn’t boosted by closing it. If you want to compare your homemade BP, you should burn goex instead, and I’ll assure you that your black powder is quite slow.
