I think your Ginobili comparison is very good. He only needs to get more confident because he is not the ANT type of player with the magical physique. But he is such a special allrounde like Grant Hill. His Size will come up quick in the next years. He is not the typical go to guy because he so unselfilsh. Beside that i believie if he gets more trust in his skill he will be the no 1 in the Magic Game. If he handles his shoothing percentage, he will be one of the best guys for years. He is so efficant and he does nothing thats worthless in his moves. He always got the look for his teammate before he takes a wild shot.Young US players typical try to isolate very fast, hes not that guy. He drives to find the open spot, if not he finishes even against big guys like Towns or Wembanyama with a handchance like you saw in the olympics. Very special!

IDK. Wouldn't surprise me if Tom benches him on many nights. Tom benched him in the playoffs. Even after impressive games. Precious didn't even seem a priority for Knicks to re-sign. It may get real tough if the Knicks bring in a true backup center. Precious is the new Obi in Thibs rotation. 15mins when he see mins. Except during injuries. There is only so much players Thibs can play and he isn't playing 15 men a night.

I'm a glad the Knicks brought back Precious,he gives the Knicks a lot of versatility,he can back up Randle at the 4 and he can back up the 5 spot and hold it down when called on to start.You mentioned how versatile he is as a defender and what people don't realize is,he still has some upside,he has the potential to become a better shooter,not a great shooter,but,a better one. He also,has potential as a passer and he's already a pretty good cutter,he's athletic,tough and he hits both boards hard and he still pretty young. Precious Achiuwa is a Knicks type player and based on what he did last season in the second half of the regular season and in the playoffs,he earned a spot on this team

He’s got all the physical tools to be a good big he just doesn’t know how to fit into an offense and defense right now. I feel like if Thibs got him in practices for a year he could mold him into a really solid player

I agree with you, and I believe Precious will level up tremendously this year. With a proper Knicks summer training camp under his belt, not to mention the expert tutelage of Mark Bryant, I would be STUNNED if he didn't at least get SOMEWHAT better this year.
