My WASP ring fell apart while I was admiring it, and forced me to try and put it together. I watched this video a few times and put four of the six rings together fairly easy, but kept messing up with the last two rings. The following day, I put it together fairly quickly and easily on my first attempt. I was chuffed to bits and so happy, thinking I could put it together easily if it came apart in the future. I then came here and left a comment to thank Jeff, for making the WASP ring, and for making this puzzle ring solution video. Today it came apart in my hands again, while I was trying to see how my ring looked from the inside of the band. I was happy thinking I could put my ring back together fairly easily and quite quickly. I was so wrong! I could get four of the rings back together, but I kept failing putting the last two rings into place. I eventually put my ring back together, and I had a big grin on my face because I could wear my WASP again. What I have learnt about my WASP ring so far is that solving it isn’t as easy as I thought it was, and that I need to practice a lot more, especially with the last two rings. I will be practicing daily, until I can hopefully put my WASP ring back together fairly easily from memory.

Thank you Jeff, for making this great video showing how to solve the WASP puzzle ring. The clear explanations about setting the ring order before attempting to solve the WASP, and explaining clearly how to move the rings from one side to the other, or moving two rings together to be above or below, made solving the WASP easier than I thought it would be. If anyone is thinking of buying the WASP, stop thinking about it and just buy it. The WASP is a beautiful ring that has an amazing look, and has an ingenious way of locking together. Jeff takes great pride in all of the rings he makes, and you can see his skill and craftsmanship in the finished rings that he makes. The vast majority of the rings he makes are his own designs, which I think is incredible.

I love the WOW5 puzzle ring because of the pattern around the ring, the size of it, and because It’s a fantastic puzzle ring to look at and solve! I’ve watched Jeff and Cheng showing how to solve the WOW5 puzzle ring many times, and although both are good, I definitely prefer this video from Jeff, because it shows clearly how the first three rings interlock with each other, and how the last two rings fold down into the ring. Initially I couldn’t fold the ring from the back in first, and was always putting the ring that was stopped by your fingers first, which was not only awkward, but many times the ring would just fall apart and I would have to start over. The more times I put my WOW5 ring together watching this video and listening to the verbal instructions from Jeff, the more things I noticed, and the easier it became. Eventually, I decided to copy Jeff and fold the ring in from the back first. I kept rewinding the video, until eventually I realised what I was doing wrong, and very quickly, I was folding the ring in from the back first, as Jeff had shown, and it made everything so much easier and a lot faster. I now can remember the different shapes of the first three rings, and how they connect together, which makes it so much easier to fold the last two identical rings into the ring to complete it. Practice makes perfect, and I no longer need to watch the puzzle ring solution video from Jeff. As Jeff rightly says “Easy when you know how”. Thanks for making such a great and detailed video, showing and explaining how to put the WOW5 puzzle ring back together.

Yes it is silver. I have a couple of his puzzle rings that my girls bought for me, and they are beautifully made and finished. He also makes puzzle rings in gold, and he makes puzzle rings using different gold colours. All of his rings are finished to an excellent standard and in my humble opinion, they are works of art.

for everyone that says this vid is not helping - just look it few times. i was watching it like 3-4 times before i started to pun mine together. try to pause vid to look at bands. and FIRST OF ALL listen all he is saying. That was truly painful to watch. Its about The V's and The S's... unlike the four band puzzle rings that PuzzleRingMaker.com sells that are not locked as four. In this 6 ring puzzler all rings are locked with each other. Look at the different rings...There is four V's... so line up the V's to make a diamond with your finger through it. turn the diamond around on your finger and spin the two S's rings together capturing the back side bands of the diamond, the two S's are now one forming an 8 shape. Now pull the diamond off your finger holding the S's, now made into an 8 shape, up, with the four V's at the top... let them fall... their backs still in and running through the 8 Shape. Relax... look closely at all the V's hanging down. find the largest V and slowly spin the V into the 8 shape. Note how it falls into place. Next on the opposite, take the larger of the V's... and spin the V into the 8 Shape... again note how it falls into place easily. there is now two V's left.... Note the smaller of the V's is the ring you move into the 8 shape last. The rest of this puzzle is now worked slowly, as you will have to open the first four rings you put into place, so the last two V's can slide into place. Really, this should not take but 20 minutes. Sometimes... puzzle rings get bent when not together for a time, or the notching is a bit poor, and you will have a little harder time getting it together. Relax, its really is made to go together... and at worst should take an hour. One Last thought... Yay thank you! I won one of these rings on ebay not knowing that it was a puzzle ring. Within the first few seconds of unpacking it the ring fell apart and I tried so hard to figure out how to put it back together again. Great video, I now have a ring again! :)

Thank you! This is the solution that worked for me. I kept getting it almost, except the back bands didn't quite match up (it seemed backwards) so I ended up trying the last step with the left ring on bottom instead of on top and that did it. I can wear my rings again and this was so simple to do. Thank you!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I just spent about 12 hours trying to put my wedding band back together just so I could learn in case it fell apart during our wedding day on May 23, 2019. I'll have to practice more but this makes the most sense unlike the paper instructions that were sent. Please don't delete this video.
