Hi Jay, would it be asking too much if I asked you to include the chord diagrams? I can't find the shapes you taught in the introduction in my list. Also the strumming: D-D- Du-DUDUDUDU; correct?

What Kind of uke is that?

It’s a Farallon tenor from Blackbird ukuleles. Low G stringing. It’s a composite construction sort of like the carbon fiber instruments you may have seen.

Do you play the guitar? If not, leave this song alone. Ukulele is an underachiever's instrument.
@jayclement17
@jayclement17 14 күн бұрын
I do play guitar, and I disagree with you about the “underachiever” remark. The song is a good song, and it works on both instruments just fine. If you prefer guitar (and I usually prefer that too), then stick with that. There’s room under the big music tent for both. :-)

@@jayclement17 I worked for three major musical instrument retailers. Invariably, the people who bought ukuleles were not at all serious about becoming musicians. They were all beginners, (I never sold anyone their "second" ukulele). I think they saw it as a shortcut. You are an exception to my experience. I might just be irritated that I've been working on this song for a year now and I can't get the vocal/guitar timing right. I can nail the solo but.... I did not mean to put my pain on you brother.
