How much would you charge to build me one?

NOT showing it actually do the intended job makes for a ridiculous video. :(

Seeing no follow up vid made me wonder if it worked. I know there are guys using Harbor Freight winches for power dolly's so that part should work. The John Deere axle is great. But the fatal flaw that I see right away is that it's two wheeled. If you hook to your trailer and engage the winch, you will immediately have a strong pull of the handle up or down depending on direction. I have a 2500lb boat/trailer weight. I would have to imagine that would be annoying to fight against. Put a pair of swivel wheels and keep 80-90% of the weight on the drive wheels and you should have a winner.

The handle will only pull until the ball presses against its limits in the hitch receiver. I prefer a three or four wheel design, but the two wheel way should also work fine imo.

it is probably a fghg but there should be a number stamped in the left side of the frame by where the driver steps. if you need any more info try Parts R Parts in California

Looks interesting But it would've been better if you would've actually hooked it up to the trailer

Nice looking build but why did you not use a proper camera to film it. This looks stupid like looking through a gap in a fence.

When it comes to a self-propelled, all-terrain, ride-along trailer-dolly, used primarily for launching boats, I can tell you that there are at least 7 or 8 major engineering design considerations to be tackled, and it looks like you have failed to solve 2 of them and completely ignored the rest. Clearly, based on the number of views you've earned, many people want one of these things. Pitch-Stability using a handle is a MISTAKE 2 Wheels is a MISTAKE - Roll-Stability is a major problem Traction - There is not enough weight on the wheels to go uphill It needs to fit into the trunk of your car Electricity and water don't mix well Traction - wheel contact patch is too small You had a really great idea 2 years ago. Now, you just need an aerospace-science engineer to turn that idea into something you can mass-produce and sell.

you seem to make a whole bunch of false assumptions. what makes you think this is in any way intended to be used to launch anything? start with that, perhaps.

Bill, Please share more details. How did you modify the winch to accommodate the sprocket. Got a part number on the axle or do you know which tractor it came from. Thanks, rick
