My Dad was not like Boumont’s profession in theology but pretty much was unscripted as a real Dad and i see simularities between the character of the befuddled Ward and my befuddled Dad. And Boumont was just like my Dad that Boughmont as the befuddled Ward was my TV favorite on Leave It To Beaver. One time my Dad planned to throw me out of the house and my furnishings on the lawn if I did not produce to him a paycheck from a real employer and it had to be in his hands by tomorrow Wednesday! Or else i was no longer welcome. You see, I had a Job, but I didn’t want my parents to find out until I knew for sure i was the right fit for this job. Plus instead of look for work on Sundays I went to church because a miracle happened to me that i read about but never thought i would speak in tongues as God gave me the utterance to the dismay of my Mom who was no longer the focal point as a Moma’s Boy. And didn’t believe in miracles only as a coincidence. That religion was a crutch or a place to escape reality. And when my Dad made the ultimate altimatum or else, my Mom said, Let’s see how God delivers you from being thrown out of our house! (My employer paid me that Tuesday and for some strange reason i was compelled not to cash my check?) After my Dad delivered this sincere threat, I came down with my Paycheck from my employer to show Mom how my God in Christ does deliver on His promises and God is in control. She sumened my Dad Dad to come back to see what “your son” has in his hand and he sat completely moved to jealousy and commended me. You see he didn’t have Christ in his life nor went to church and all his things were thrown out on the lawn and he inlisted in the Navy. But it reminded me of an episode of Leave It To Beaver. My Dad is so awsome and is my best Dad in the whole wide world! He was so proud of me that he left me a trust to take care of me when he past away to have when i retire. I miss him❤️

Back in 1965, I fell hopelessly in love with a beautiful girl Helen Shepherd. She was a Canadian from Sudbury. About a year or so later I saw Moment to Moment. Jean Seberg looked exactly like Helen so this is the reason I will never forget Jean Seberg quite apart from the fact she was a wonderful actress. Terry Foskett

Jack Benny was a 'guest' star...and I use that term loosly! obnoxious. He always panned the audience as if he believed he deserved more laughs. He wasn't funny. He wasn't a 'star'. Just an idiot with no talent...except when it comes to the violin.

there actually is something shocking that they neglected to mention - that blond housekeeper shown at the very beginning of this presentation ended up years later posing topless.

When Wally got a wild hairstyle and they played rock music every time he entered the room. When Beaver did the same and Wally said, " Sorry dad I tried not to laugh." When Beaver let the drunk guy in to take a bath. The train ride the boys took and ran out of money. When Ward had to get his accidentally donated suits back. When the Beaver got stuck inside the soup billboard. Anything Eddie. Mr Rutherford telling Ward," we might as well be comfortable so we'll take my car." The boys ordering a real alligator and going to Gus for help. June getting upset when Ward tried to teach the Beaver to box. The whole series.

This is one of my all time favorite movies. It also serves as a time capsule, as there are so many outdoor scenes of New York in the mid 1960s.

I always felt Amanda Randolph should have gotten an Emmy nod for keeping the banter going with Danny Thomas in between Jean Hagen's departure and the addition of Marjorie Lord later! Terry just went off to college and came back afterward! Much more sensible than Kris Carmichael on The Lucy Show that left for college and was never heard from again! Haha!

I have been looking for this series on DVD for a very long time. I cannot find it so I guess it never got saved? I watched it with my dad as a small child. He loved all the TV westerns and watched them all . This one particularly stuck in my mind , although I do not know why. Would love to see some full episodes . Lots of clips, lots of theme tune but no full episodes it seems . Cant even find it on re run TV channels.

Don't forget to say that nobody's for and I get that you can't swear on TV but they didn't want to get thrown off the air and it's a happy trade real scenarios to like they would have complained about that.

This movie is part of my childhood. I first saw it when I was eleven yrs old. On The Son of Spingooglie show on channel WFLD tv Berwyn. During that time, my mother was a twice divorced woman of three bad a×× children. During the Regan administration, who had to run the household for her.OG, latch key kids. While she worked full time and went to college. This movie will always remind me of a time in my life when my mother was getting it from the mug. So her children will have a better life than she did. The lesson that I learned was "There is no such thing as a free lunch"!!🤔🤫🫣

When I was a young kid (late 50's and early 60's), my mom loved the show. We did not live far from the studio that recorded the Edge of Night. One day, when we got into the elevator of our apartment house, there were Teal Ames and John Larkin. One or the other lived in the same apartment house. I was looking for the camera. Now that was a memorable show! Some time thereafter, John Larkin died from a heart attack (1965). As I recall, even I watched the show from time-to-time.

My friend and I used to sneak into the movie theatre on Saturday's to watch the matinees - The projector guy never locked the back door on the weekends. Guess he only worked on the weekends, because the door was locked during the week. At age eleven, in 1975, we must have seen this movie six or seven times along with many other films - we never got tired of it. Kids will be kids, plus, we had no money to pay for the matinees. Great memories. The friend I saw it with died at age 40, so it is a cherished memory for me. RIP John C. Pinkos.
