I remember being a kid thinking this and I still think the same thing they really had a parent-teacher conference because Charlie is bleeding at Santa Claus if I would have been Charlie's dad I would have stood up walked out left and said grow up

Scott and Laura's marriage seemed very common where they over time just forgot why they married. Like one day they no longer were husband and wife, they've become more like roommates while raising a child. Scott prioritizing his career over his family clearly caused a lot of stress in his family life and in his marriage. He neglected Charlie's emotional needs and his marriage. The divorce effected Charlie so much that he detached himself from his dad and was in need of professional help. Scott and Laura just overtime fell out of love but never stopped loving each other. I think Scott realized how much he really loves Charlie and that he needs to make changes when Neil and Laura threatened to strip away his visitation rights. After their trip to the North Pole, Scott and Charlie were able to repair their relationship when Scott started dedicating all his time to his son and Charlie showed him how proud he was and had faith in him when one else did which was so beautiful ❤

Fringe, where John Noble played the one John Noble character I have ever liked because he was a likeable character, instead of playing a well done villian (counting Denathor the politician). And it just happened to be an LSD-dropping crazy old scientist with a PhD in everything pseudoscience.
