I have that cassette recording of songs Michael and Peter and Henrietta sang together. Hauntingly exquisite.

What a beautiful and sensitive portrayal of art, life and the Hurd family legacy.

Commercially, we know we need more footage etc., but I really love the pace and rhythm of Michael's story-telling. I like this raw edit. The ancestry and history of his family is fascinating. Thanks for commenting!

Where do you learn about the lightning strike affecting the size of the juniper? I haven't heard of this before? Is there a term for it or further information somewhere?
@pblakeaudiovideo9 ай бұрын
I hadn't heard it before either... Forrest is an arborist, so studying the effects of lightning on trees might be a good start. Hope that helps. He did mention that the Ponderosa Pines in this area (east of the Sacramento Mountains ~7000') were introduced during the Dustbowl Era. The Pinion-Juniper trees are more native.

Watched you start and grow as I made regular trips between Las Cruces and Roswell. Enjoyed your nuts in many flavors for years. Long time now, nearly 20 years since I ate my last Eagle Ranch pistachio. Am impressed how much you have grown. Cheers from a Nuevo Mexicano in Oz.
