So, the requirements for that secret boss is that we must have more lit-up squares than the boss does, at the moment the boss dies, so the healer just runs around flipping pads to our color. She doesn't need to flip nearly as many pads as she does, but there's not much for the healer to do there, so she's just flipping them for fun.

@@casualgamer5863I use Tremorscale on trash and Earthgore on bosses. On trash pulls, the enemies will likely be missing Minor Breach and Crusher since those are single-target debuffs, hence the use of penetration sets on trash. On boss pulls, since we're going for no-death, Earthgore is used to make up for the NB's main weakness: the lack of an effective burst heal. If I were not going for no-death and wanted to play riskier, I'd probably use Archdruid. As for War Machine, you don't need that. There are lots of decent sets that you can use, and whether you use War Machine or a different set like Saxheel or Tide or Drake's Rush or many of the other available options won't really make a whole lot of difference. The more far important things are familiarity with the fights and with the class.

@@casualgamer5863 I use Void Bash on trash. And Puncturing Remedy on boss fights.

I would say that they are below average in difficulty, if compared to the dungeons released in the past two or three years. Harder than Black Drake or Cauldron, but easier than last year's. Probably on par with Red Petal Bastion.

If the portal mechanic is still active when the statues are summoned, there is a chance that the statue will not awaken. This is an old bug that has been there since the beginning of this trial in 2019. Since it's a bug, it's not reliable and you have to get lucky. Sometimes you get lucky and get one more more skips. And sometimes you don't and you don't get any skips.

I put in just enough stam so that my stam is higher than my mag, and then all points into health. Since this is a Breton tank, that meant 20 points in stam to counter-balance the racial passive, and everything else is in health. For my non-Bretons, I do all 64 points in health.

I have no idea. I believe that it's a bug--we've seen it happen a handful of times. No clue what triggers it.

I still use Dressing Room. I'm not comfortable with how much WW tries to automate. As for whether or not it's a bug, it's an assumption that's made based on the fact that if she does not move, then all she does is spam her ranged light attacks. The biggest challenge for the tank is dealing with the cone that she (frequently) casts, and that goes away if she refuses to move into range for the cone. Although I haven't heard confirmation from ZOS that not-moving is not intended, I have a hard time believing that it's the intended behavior.

For the final boss, I believe it was SPC/Pillager/Symphony. Since the damage ramps up, the final ticks of the heal check are the worst, and the healer basically needs to spam Combat Prayer every single GCD. This means they need to time the reapplication of their HoTs. The healer can cast a barrier to buy them the GCDs to refresh their HoTs when there are like 9s left in the mechanic (CCA shows a timer for how many seconds are left), and then once refreshed, spam CBP until the mechanic ends. However, our healer had trans-Atlantic ping and brief lag spikes now and then, which made things inconsistent--if she didn't get any lag, we healed through it just fine, but if she missed a GCD due to lag, it could result in a death. Which is why we later swapped to doing two barriers, to give us some extra margin for error (I think our trifecta clear had two barriers).

IMO, I dont think its harder than Coral aerie mechanically, those are pretty simple, its just the last boss heal check is rough. A lot of other DLC dungeon mechanics are more difficult to master as they takes multiple people cooperating in sync. For dps/tank, this dungeon will not feel super difficult.
