Hi. For English I would recommend putting a lot of effort into the aspects that you have more control over. Such as the essays you can take home or the prepared speeches. Starting work on those activities far in advance can help you to develop the best possible response to the topic. And asking your teacher for feedback on those assignments either during the process or after it’s been marked can help you to improve in the future. Doing as many practice questions and past papers as possible, and using the memos to see how to improve your answering technique can also be helpful. 🌼

Hi. Yeah I know the quality isn’t always very good. I do all my filming and editing on my phone, so it’s not exactly very high tech. I do manually add captions that can be turned on by using subtitles if it’s difficult to understand what I’m saying. Hopefully at some point I’ll be able to upgrade to better resources, but at the moment it isn’t exactly feasible as I’m a student and do not have a source of my own income.

For maths, the best thing that you can do is practice as much as you can. It gives you a kind of 'muscle memory' for answering the routine questions and helps you with problem solving when there are level 4 questions that you haven't seen before. I would recommend doing as many past papers as possible, from different schools as well. I think St Stithians has a website where you are able to access the main core papers if you don't know where to find any.

Hi. Unfortunately I don’t have any secret tips for physics. It’s just studying hard, doing all the practice questions and as many past papers as you can. For NBTs I got 89% for the maths paper, and 94 and 97 for the maths literacy and english papers. Good luck!

Hi. I wouldn’t write them straight away if you’re still busy doing new matric work - specifically for maths - because you might not have covered everything. I would recommend finding a time when you’re not too busy with other assignments, but obviously don’t leave it till the last minute. Hope that helps 🌸
