I suggest writing to your MP or maybe arranging an appointment to meet your MP at their constituency surgery. [I doubt they see KZfaq videos.] I am sure a Lib Dem MP, or the current government, will be much better on disability than the previous lot.

I'm not a Liberal Democrat supporter though I do like many of their left leaning/liberalish policies, and I found Ed Davey very refreshing and their manifesto just on the NHS and expanding it in terms of mental health and dental and making sure social care workers are given a living wage and tackling the giant corporations, I'm glad they made the huge gains they did and i hope along with the Greens they attack the ruling Labour Party which is Pepsi to the coca cola/mc Donalds known as the Conservative Party. this was incredibly moving and here's hoping the left faction of Lib-Dems and Labour work with another to lobby for social justice and more.

How refreshing to listen to something beyond the entitled dogma of the Tories. Points well made... accept the past but prepare for the future. Dragging us back to the past under the Tories is at an end. Embrace the modern as its where we'll spend the rest of our lives.

A good man. I am the father of a young lady who has Down Syndrome. My wife and I are worried about what will happen if we go before her. She is our world. She had open heart surgery when she was 3 and now has a pacemaker. She is bright and beautiful but very vulnerable. It’s hard looking after a vulnerable person and my wife and I don’t have a very good support network, it’s mum dad and our daughter. I work full time and my wife works part time and we work our responsibilities around our shifts. Our daughter is now 22 and she goes to provision for two days and a SEN college for two days and has a day at home. It’s is challenging but it we love and cherish her but we do worry for the future.

Just wanted to say - I had to vote labour this time to get the tories out - but in 2029 I will be voting yellow. I think the carers allowance benefit is awful, and without family carers, the social care crisis in this country would be so much worse. Unpaid carers are a gift but so under recognised.
