It's really good, and really bad at the same time. The singer is off pitch, and tempo. Everyone else is pretty solid.

Tommy is an ok singer and great guitar player, I don't think he is a great song writer, He did write some great songs in purple but not any before or after IMO

Bogert and Appice of Vanilla Fudge comprised the global premier rock rhythm section pre- Led Zeppelin.

Everyone-soloing-at-once bands, like this one, is why Stevie Wonder is known around the globe for this song and BB&A enjoys an almost nonexistent audience. So much of this soul-less, lily-white nonsense existed in this era, probably emboldened by Cream, who managed to have a real style.

F this dude singing. On the two records he was ok but live...ah no. They should've just let Tommy do it.

I have known for a good, long time that Stevie Wonder wrote this song for Jeff Beck. Until now, though, I haven't listened to Beck's version...WOW, just...WOW! Stevie's and Jeff's versions of Superstion are two completely different songs, amazing!

Interesting that Tommy is playing a Stratocaster here, when he didn't play one with Deep Purple, as he was filling the role of a guitarist that played one all the time.

One of the greatest bands of all time. Jeff actually wrote the drum part for Stevie Wonder. And btw, he was 28-29 years old and playing like that. Damn. That’s is talent.

They were different w/o JW…Not really better or worse… I will say their place in the foundation of classic rock music is substantial. If TB had stayed with us a bit longer who knows how he would have been regarded & remembered…I remember him as a very talented musician & song writer! DRUGS KILL!!😢

I'm a huge fan of Tommy and his solo stuff - this just doesn't sound right to me, he does a good job of the cover but it's not his song. And Roy Kenner is a complete embarrassment.
