@@Rizzy_K while I appreciate the theory of clever meta story telling that pokes fun at Disney and marvel, I didn’t see really it that way. I found the film to more so lord it’s corporate ownership and Disney’s continual cinematic monopoly over the audience. And lightly poking fun at itself doesn’t really distract me from the danger that Disney’s role in the film industry presents. Just like deadpool looking at the camera and pointing out the flaws within this film, doesn’t really make those flaws go away. I don’t like marvel movies, so I know many MCU fans will just hate and say that I didn’t want to like or I’m just a pretentious film consumer, but I genuinely went into this with an open mind, and excitement. While mainstream cinema doesn’t really do it for me as I’ve gotten older, I still grew up with these movies and comics, and definitely have nostalgia that can be preyed upon. But I still need more than nostalgia and fan service to make me enjoy something. And personally I don’t think this movie had much to offer beyond shock value, excessive vulgarity, and excessive pandering to fanboys. I’m not gonna yuck your yum. I genuinely mean that I’m happy that a film has brought people a lot of joy, even if I didn’t enjoy it. But I do think films like these being so beloved does say something negative about our culture and general audiences relationships with art. Corporate films like this are the reason why smaller and more original films are not being made as much anymore. And as Disney continues to buy up all of its competition and know that It can just rely on movies like this to get people in the seats, where will be in 20 years? Why can’t art try and move forward instead of constantly relying on the nostalgia of the past? Overall, I found deadpool and wolverine to be an emotionally empty cynical film devoid of any real storytelling that’s overly reliant on referential humour and an audience that would rather be coddled and pandered to, rather than respected or challenged. I like dumb fun too. But I don’t like dumb fun that thinks it’s more than that or above it because of lazy 4th wall breaking. I like my dumb fun earnest and genuine lol.

Oh yeah I loved it especially because he was SO close to playing Gambit in the past.

I was under the impression the only Tim Hortons in the US were in New York, but if there is one now in Oregon I never went there. From the couple of times I had Timmys while in Canada I always found the food better than the drinks.

@@higgs31 Ah my bad I misinterpreted. Yeah, as far as I'm aware there actually might only be a single one and it's in Buffalo since Tim Horton played for the Sabres. Those little Timbits sustained me on a few road trips for sure though.
